Great product. Self Evaporative which saves multiple bucket empying several times a day which I was doing with my last non Dimplex brand portable Air Con. This is the main bonus with this unit! Also Much Quieter than that same as above. This unit 11kg lighter also. Very Happy indeed!

Do not buy this air conditioner. Save yourself the hassle and buy the eyesore model with the bucket. They are so much easier to empty the water. The selling point for this model is " no bucket needed". Load of crap. Instead every couple of hours you have to empty the condenser out. How do you do that you ask, well you have to undo a plug at the back on the bottom of the machine and drain into a flat plastic container that you have to manoeuvre under the drain plug while lifting and tilting the machine. As you can imagine with this movement the vent falls out of your window. The air conditioner isn't light and it is ridiculous to do. Water goes everywhere, do not use on carpet. Have had this for 4 months now thorough summer. It does a good enough job cooling but bangs loudly when the compressor goes on and off. Dehumidifier function only works if it's connected to an external drain hose (not supplied). Internal water tray fills up very fast (hours) in cooling mode on a humid day. Display is blinding bright blue light (not adjustable) and buttons are not back lit so you're always fumbling for the right one. Temp up and down buttons are back to front (up is left side, down is right) so you're always hitting the wrong one first. Remote control is useless. All in all a noisy, poorly designed and built product.

Good Unit, cools very well, a tiny bit noisy when the compressor kicks in and out compared to the previous Dimplex unit I had, The compressor seems to turn on and off more frequently then the previous one I had but perhaps this is an energy saving thing. Would purchase again.
Good unit and quite effective for my 35 square metre room. Quieter than I expected and it has a simple control and display presentation that doesn't require interpretation. Note that the unit shouldn't be run for 24 hours after installation if transported on its side and the notice stating this is hidden at the rear base. My only issue is the exhaust hose which feels fragile and flimsy.
For $969 is an absolute bucket of S… I have used it once and it blows hotter air than what is outside! I would not waste my money on this product at all. A technician is apparently coming out to look at it. I just want a refund or a brand new unit. What a waste of a grand.
I have had quite a few portable air conditioners over the years and this would have to be the best. In a hot Brisbane summer it cools the room down in 5 minutes. I have it running on a low fan speed and works just as well. On a hot day it can cool my room down to 18 degrees. The delivery was fast. The delivery drivers unpacked it for me and took the packaging away. I realised after they left the remote wasn't in the box. I contacted appliances Online and they sent me the remote via post. It's great value for money and it's quiet enough to leave it on all night and sleep well.
Definitely does the job of cooling down the room well, however it is noisy which is a shame. You also have to manually adjust the louvres which is odd. All in all it is an ok solution if you can’t have aircon installed.
Now i never leave reviews for anything, but this thing impressed me so much. Ive brought portable air conditioners before but they’ve ever worked. I have a 3m by 4m bedroom, That gets hit by the afternoon sunlight. In less then 5minutes my was already cool. And this during mid summer.
Absolutely fantastic. I had a different brand that was bulky required water god knows why maybe to keep motor cool. The moisture would build up and cause scale and lime build up which requires you to pull apart to clean. Anyway this one is none of those and works a hell of a lot better. Thankyou Harvey Norman
