No, the title isn't a review for a cereal. This blanket was bought as a way to get warm on those cold nights in front of the TV. And in the way of crispy warm, and soft, this definitely delivers. My only problem us that it crunches. It's like wrapping yourself in soft brown paper. It's fine if you don't move.

Well i've just returned mine as decided to stop working. after only about 2months use right in the middle of winter which wa just when I needed it most!!!! Very disappointing !! I wasn't really happy with it overall as seemed to take awhile to heat up even on high and didn't like the way it wasn't stitched in so the cover was quite slippery and moved around a lot without the element actually moving with it.Would NOT recommend this product.

I bought this as a replacement for my mother in law, as her old one broke. She disliked this completely. Hated the fabric, it didn't heat the whole way down the blanket, and didn't like the way the heat elements weren't sewn to the blanket to keep them in tact.

Was not what I wanted so took it back. Yet I keep getting an email for a review. What should be reviewed is the process of the review emails. I should never have received 1let alone the 4 or 5 more after that.
I was hesitant because I wanted something larger but this was one of the best purchases Ive made . I much prefer this to blasting a heater in my room . Easy to warm up or back it off .Comes up with an error it you disconnect the blanket while turned in , but if you unplug and plug back in then its fine .I absolutely love it and wouldnt be without it . I take it from my room to the couch and anywhere I want !
Lovely throw, looks classy, heating element is adjustable and doesnt burn. Its warm and comfy. It doesnt feel terribly fleecy or thick so you wouldnt really use it as a an ordinary blanket. Feels a little stiff when laying on you as the heating element is quite stiff. Im very pleased with it, its lovely for a cold evening on the lounge when you dont want to wait for central heating to warm the room.
Heats up, but not the best quality and wrong colour. The throw has an obvious plastic scrunchy sound when you move it. Ive had a different branded heated throw (Beurer) and that one was 10 times better - heated well, soft, no scrunchy sound. So probably wont be the Dimplex brand again. Only brought this one as my other one stopped working after 3 yrs and could find
So comforting. Liked the safety feature that it turned itself off after a certain time. I had one given to me when I was recovering from a trip to hospital so I paid it forward to an elderly couple who just really appreciated it.
Absolutely love my electric throw. It keeps me and my furbabies nice and warm while watching tv. When I go to bed it switches off after 3 hours so you won't get too hot. Definitely recommend this product.
After some experimentation found the blanket works best in landscape mode over your lap with the cable at the bottom corner where the cable exits closest to the power socket. Beware of running over the cable (and the throw) with your office chair. Combined with the heated floormat it has made working in an office at 10 degrees C bearable. Has made negligible difference to our power usage. It would also be good on the couch for watching TV you wouldn't need the heating on at all. Delivery time was ok at a time when the parcel services were stretched and the items were well packed.
