I have purchased this in Pink 001, Cherry 015, 017 Ultra Coral, 025 Seoul Scarlet. The formula is consistent between shades. It is only a tinted lip balm. My lips are not pigments, but none of them appear 'too unnatural' in 'formal' work and educational environments. The little moisturize lasts ever so slightly longer than the color, and they fade quite nice. In terms of scent they smell more minty than anything, and while the scent fades quickly, if you are sensitive to smells I don't see you enjoying this product. My liplines were not made more apparent, and I find them very comfortable to wear throughout the day. I'd be surprised if there is a big difference on people accounting for other than how pigmented your lips are, despite the "color-revial technology." ... MoreI have purchased this in Pink 001, Cherry 015, 017 Ultra Coral, 025 Seoul Scarlet. Not your average tinted lip balm, these have an almost gloss-like consistency, and they condition as well as add a hint of color. I've been regularly applying both the Coral and Ultra Pink shades for a couple of years now and having recently used them up, I ordered the Raspberry shade, along with the two that I needed to replenish. Turns out I love the new shade even more than the previous two! It looks like an intense pink in the tube and online, but it's actually a subtle translucent pink once applied, that's just perfect for daytime use. Even once it's eventually worn off there's still a nice hint of color on my lips that looks natural. The color also lasts a long time without me having to regularly touch up throughout the day (once or twice at the very most). ... MoreNot your average tinted lip balm, these have an almost gloss-like consistency, and they condition as well as add a hint of color. The formula itself is very hydrating which means it keeps dryness at bay much better than most other lip products I've used, no need for applying a balm beforehand, and it's great for keeping your lips supple and moisturized yet without the stickiness of most lip balms. The perfect and subtle cross between a gloss, balm and a lipstick. I'm also a fan of Dior's 'Lip Glow Oil' but I'd say the balm is the more superior product from the two.~ My Sephora Top 7 must-have list ~(My top 7 must-have beauty products of all time, focusing mainly on my purchases at Sephora)1. I have been a loyal user of Dior Lip Glow Balm since 2010, but it has undergone several reformulations since then. The latest reformulation bears no resemblance to the lip balm I have cherished for the past decade. It is now sheer and excessively drying, providing very little longevity. Within just five minutes of application, my lips feel dry, and the color fades away. What disappoints me the most is that even the colors have changed, and not for the better. The new reformulated version is worse in terms of color quality. Additionally, the upgraded version contains less product, which means you're paying more for less and experiencing a decline in overall quality. I'm on my third tube of this, and it is the only lip balm I'll ever buy as long as they keep making it. If they discontinue it you all are going to have fight me for every last tube because I'm going to hoard that crap like it's the last food on the planet post-apocalypse. I'm naturally quite pale, and also generally anemic, which makes my lips even paler. I think my coloring tends to make me look sickly, and that I look a lot healthier with a little color on my lips. But I have three toddlers, so not only do I not have a lot of time to reapply throughout the day, I don't want to leave lipstick stains or lip gloss stickiness all over them when I kiss them a million times a day. It has everything I'm looking for in a lip balm (lightweight, long lasting, moisturizing, silky feeling) with the added bonus of faintly tinting my lips an incredibly natural flattering healthy pink. I don't know exactly how it tints the lips, but when I kiss people or rub my hand over my mouth the color does not transfer off at all. I love this stuff so much

A staple product for years now!

I have purchased this over and over for at least 6 years, always going back and forth between the 01 pink and the 004 coral. Coral was always my favorite but I’ve recently changed my mind. There is just something about this pink that makes your lips look so good in photos, no liner needed. The coral gives more of a juicy look but the pink makes me look like I was born with lips that are naturally a pretty color. I will actually pair this with the Sephora gel liner in nudist to give me lips more structure. It’s a really cool toned nude liner, almost has a lavender tint and doesn’t overpower the look. The cool tones work so well together. Anyway this is hands down my favorite balm/lip product. I wouldn’t say it plumps, but it provides a comfortable, balmy, long lasting “your lips but better” look. I’ve tried several shades, and the matte, and the holo. And I keep coming back to this pink (and the coral). Staples for life!!

An addict since 2009

Jeez, I've lost track of how many of these I've purchased over the years. Bought my first tube when they initially came out in summer of 2009 and was instantly hooked. Must have gone through literally over 150+ tubes of Lip Glow since then.I've noticed some people touch on a reformulation that happened a while back, and I admit I've noticed a slight change however I do think it was for the best. One of my original gripes was that it was really easy to melt (ie. if I left it in my car during summer) however with the revised formulation I've noticed that it fares far better in heat. It does takes a bit more work to glide it on your lips when you buy a new tube, but after 2-3 uses it just starts feeling like the old formula. It just somehow makes my gross lips feel rejuvenated regardless of what state they're in.I fear i'll have to buy this stuff for the rest of my life. This stuff is crack.Pro tip: Before bed, do a proper lip exfoliation and apply this immediately after. When you wake up, enjoy a plump pink pout. I've also noticed that this method actually increases wear time throughout the day. No clue how this works but it just does lol.

For low maintenance, comfy lip product fans

Perfect lip product for me. I’m not a fan of lipstick, lip stain etc.- way too high maintenance for me and not very comfortable. This is a little like a love child between a lipstick and lip balm- comfortable on the lips, maybe just a slight stickiness but I think that’s what helps it be more long wearing than a lip balm would be. The hydration IS there but it takes some time to sink in-the longer you wear it, the more moisturized your lips! So if you put it on and your lips still look a little dry, give it some time. I probably wouldn’t recommend putting a lip balm under since that will reduce the longevity. Has a slight pop of color designed to be an enhancement to you lips. This is NOT a long wear lipstick (nor is it designed to be), if you’re drinking, or indulging in a little PDA with your significant other, you’ll have to replace it. But if it’s the pink one, I’ve found it’s sheer enough you can just throw it back on without a mirror or anything. I just ordered some darker colors so not sure if that’s possible with those as well. Anyways very happy with it, but it will depend what you’re looking for if this is the right one for you.Probably is a comparable product out there that’s similar for cheaper, but in my experience, you end up spending more buying up multiple cheaper products trying to find “the one”; and I don’t think it’s ever a mistake to buy something that’s high quality. This does exactly what I want it to do, so it’s worth the money to me. Plus look how cute the packaging!

Also adds moisture with a healthy shine. Not sticky or anything. Adds the perfect color and I really like the red shade it transfers to my lips. Combined with Dior Lip Maximizer lip gloss you can get a really glamorous glossy lips like in the photo I added or even just wear it alone for a more comfortable look. which I usually do. I bought this tube maybe a little over 6 months ago and now I just received the low. It's worth buying. Can't wait to get my hands on other shades.

No. 1 Repurchase Item for Lips
26 April 2023

This is the only lip product that I have repeatedly repurchased. I have naturally dry lips so using lipstick often shows all of the ugly lines and dry skin on the lips. Instead, I reach for this lip balm because it layers well on top of a clear moisturizing lip balm; gives the lips a nice, soft sheen; and adds some light, natural looking color. If I want stronger color, I line and color in the lips with lip pen first. Also makes a good base if you want to top it off with some lip gloss and make the lips look super plump and glossy. As an Asian-American with medium toned skin and reddish lips, I found that various colors have looked natural on me:1. Rosewood (medium) is the most pigmented out of the three that I've tried, and looks most like lipstick.3. Mahogany (darker red) gives the lips a darker, pretty sheen but is still light enough to look natural. If you want the mahogany color to look more pigmented, you will need to start with a lip liner base or add a darker lip gloss on top.

Really nice but...
11 March 2023

So this is kind of weird to review. I really do like the product. The coral pink leaves a pretty subtle shade, it's light weight but still moisturizing and leaves my lips soft. It's got a slight cooling feeling that's really nice without being like that overpowering menthol sensation. It's got adorable packaging. BUT $40 is a lot for a product like this. I think you're very much paying for the brand name. You could probably find something that will work just as well for a fraction of the price. It you want to treat yourself to something this could definitely be good, but if you're worried you're missing out on something phenomenal you definitely don't need to. That's why I'm only giving it four stars. Great, but you don't need to spend $40 on something like this ... MoreSo this is kind of weird to review. I really do like the product.
