Dior Backstage Eye Palette 003 Warm Essentials

I’m cool toned, so there are not many palettes I can even use, I have tried these in limited edition colors over the years and they are more pigmented and perform better overall, but the cool toned is so neutral and light that the colors just aren’t meant to jump out. I personally don’t use the included primer with it normally, but I love the idea that it’s included and how compact it is. I will use it if I’m out or traveling, etc. It’s not bad, it’s just not as good as my dedicated primer. The colors are light, gorgeous, complimentary and feminine. They aren’t super pigmented as I mentioned above and some colors don’t blend as well as others and can be patchy. The quality of this is different from the 5 color Dior quad’s. I’m used to this palette and know how to make it work with the right brushes and application techniques, but if you’re expecting luxury performance from this one, you will be disappointed. It’s worth it for me because there isn’t much on the market to suit my skintone and it IS pretty and you can create some very beautiful looks. It’s just not totally on par with the Dior name.

This is the Dior backstage eyeshadow palette and it retails for $52.00. There are some other color options available, I have the 002 cool neutrals. This has 9 shades, 8 shades of mauves and soft pinks in a cool variety. They use a very traditional powder that is a little dusty. I don’t like the primer they added to the palette, I don’t find it useful. It just shows a little more texture than I normally see and didn’t extend the wear of my shadows. The shades are drier and sheer out quite a bit when blended. The shimmers were especially sheer, you almost need to apply to a dampened brush. The mattes were good, I found them buildable and easier to blend

I am neutral toned and the cool toned palette looks amazing on me. It is neutral enough where anyone can pull it off plus it layers so well. You can layer and blend without a problem and the shade range is really good where you can get subtle natural looks to full glamor. The one downside is that for the price point it does not come with a mirror on the palette. However, it comes with a primer and various shimmer and matte shades that makes it a perfect travel palette . Plus the package is so beautiful and luxurious. It was worth every pretty penny and I would not hesitate to buy a new one. I love the shades and it is stunning!!🩷🩷🩷

Cheap counterfeit scam

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! I am so disappointed! Despite other reviews, I trusted the seller and purchased a Dior Backstage Eye Palette. It was completely counterfeit in the most obvious ways. It arrived broken with all squares popping out, used, the back label sticker was crooked, and the weight was different from the original palette and made with a cheap plastic. I have too many reasons to identify how it was inauthentic and can follow up with a detailed analysis comparing the original with verification from the Dior side. Disappointed and upset at this fraudulent transaction.

Dull Colors & Low-Rent Case

I'm pretty disappointed in this, especially for the huge price. I got the Smokey Essentials palette. The colors are very different from the photos here online. The colors IRL are much darker and duller than as shown online. The packaging is pretty cheesy too, especially for the price & Dior name. (Estee Lauder's packaging is way, way more luxe than this.) I used it and now can't return it, so I'm making the best of it. But go look at it in the store if you can, before you order it online. I posted a side-by-side of the product photo from here on the website versus the real thing. Hope it helps you save $$$!

Highly pigmented & gorgeous everyday colors

Dior if you're reading this, please bring back your 002 Cool Neutrals eyeshadow palette for the cool toned girls :(I really love that this palette is comprised of all usable colors!! The rosey pink colors in this are my favorite for an in-office look, and the darker smokier colors like the silver and black are great for a going out/more memorable date night look. There's no fallout and one application lasts me the entire day, there is no need to touch up. All of these blend together very easily!

Wonderful Eyeshadow pallet..great options

Love this, I would rate this 4.5 to be totally honest. Only bc I personally favor satin or matte when it comes to the eyes, and maybe 1 shimmer. So far the Versatility of this Pallette has been really nice. Yes a bit on pricey side. Because I am cool toned and fair skinned this still works very well on mature skin. Great look ! And Looks, feel will work for many people to be honest . Definitely recommend. I am enjoying it
