Moderate projection and above average longevity as expected from a “sport” version of a french eau de toilet. Bravo! 👏

I was initially hesitant going into this fragrance, especially when I first sprayed it. It definitely has spice to it, which I do like, but I typically prefer a sweeter spice. This one is more of a fresher, woodsy spice. I wouldn’t describe it as too strong or overbearing by any means, which is what I was afraid of. The spice definitely dissipates a little bit after spraying it, and it leaves the fragrance smelling very clean with a little kick to it. It wasn’t something I was too fond of for myself at first, but I noticed that it was really growing on me as I wore it throughout the day. I sprayed the cologne on my wrists, and it lasted literally all day throughout my workday. I typically spray colognes or perfumes in my hair and on my clothes because I never have ... I typically spray colognes or perfumes in my hair and on my clothes because I never have luck with them staying on my skin. But this one definitely lasted and made a really good impression on me, which shocked me because it wasn’t overpowering when I first applied it in the morning. I felt like it wore down extremely well, lightened up perfectly, and smelled light and fresh while still maintaining the perfect amount of spice I enjoy in a fragrance. I want to say it got a little sweeter by the end of the day too, but that might just be wishful thinking on my end since I do prefer a sweet scent lol. All in all, I think i could perfectly sum this cologne up by saying it wears down just like me throughout the day. It starts off spicy and energetic, and slowly wears down and mellows as the day goes on. It adapts with your mood and energy, and It’s very pleasant! I read that it is the “ultimate Dior perfume for men who are both gentle and magnetic,” and I genuinely love and agree with that statement wholeheartedly.

Hermès Jour d'Hermès Absolu EDP is my favourite fragrance. It is lightly floral and feminine without being cloying or sweet like some fragrances can be. It smells luxurious and decadent, and I always get compliments when I wear it because it's not a common scent. First bought it from Sephora Canada, but they no longer carry it so I pop into Hermès when I need a fresh bottle of fragrance. I've tried some of the other Hermès fragrances, but have not found any that I love as much as this. For example, I find Twilly too sweet for my tastes and Un Jardin Sur La Lagune to be too potent and unpleasant for me. But this one, the Jour d'Hermès Absolu, is the perfect scent for my body chemistry.

I'll start by saying I tend to usually shy away from sport fragrances because all they do is add citrus and think it's well done. I think this was done very well however and it's a good value for money. I actually compared both this and the Homme EDT side by side on each arm and the first thing I noticed as I'm typing this is that it's missing that iris that was in the EDT they switched it out for bergamot and lemon which a lot of sport fragrances like to do. However, in this you can tell it was masterfully done. They mentioned the notes below as. KEY NOTES:Top Notes: Calabrian Bergamot. - I definitely get the Bergamot it's effervescent and bright. It's got a level of sophistication on this that makes it more grown up. Bottom Notes: Frankincense, Warm Woods. - I get the incense note but it's well-balanced and with a slightly woody undertone. All in all I think this is a great addition to the line, even with all the reformulations from the past, this stands a part and it's still a modern, mass appealing crowd pleaser that's inoffensive and sure to garner you compliments and maybe pull a few numbers, hell even if you're taken the wives/girlfriends will love this one and you'll want to keep it in your rotation. Well done Doir, back at it again with another winner for 2021 going into 2022. I love the strong start and think that it's different enough to warrant a full bottle purchase!
Dior Homme Sport is the new iteration to the Dior Homme line, adding a fresh and clean twist to the more metrosexual and iris-heavy fragrance that some of us know. Stripping away the iris and cardamom, Dior Homme Sport says goodbye to the powdery and lipstick-like smell that it used to have. An appealing opening of fresh citrus notes of lemon and bergamot starts this fragrance. While also having aldehydic notes to add a clean soapy smell, smoothing out the harsh edges of the two citric notes in the opening. Adding a fresh spicy touch to the fragrance, pink pepper is introduced in the heart of this elegant scent. Woody notes and amber is what you will find at the base of this fragrance, finishing up the composition of a great modern scent. I think this is a ... Woody notes and amber is what you will find at the base of this fragrance, finishing up the composition of a great modern scent. I think this is a magnificent release from the house of Christian Dior, an easy-to-like fresh fragrance that I recommend. While I tested this fragrance for about a week, it came off as a pleasant lemon soapy scent. You have fresh citrus notes at the top that pack a punch like a boxer's uppercut with aldehydes adding a clean laundry smell. The pink pepper and woody notes add this finishing touch, rounding out any little harsh edges of the fragrance. As for longevity, the scent lasted well over 7 hours with moderate projection for about 1 1⁄2 hour. Francois Demachy, the former in-house perfumer of Dior, created this beautiful modern scent. A fragrance that once you spray, you gain a boost of confidence, ready to conquer the day. Being a fan of the Dior Homme line, I expected more from this fragrance. I anticipated something more unique, but sadly it wasn't contrasting. I respect the craft and what the perfumer created. Sometimes simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Thank you Influenster for allowing me to review this!
Sophisticated and elegant are great words that describe this fragrance. The perfect scent for the modern man. Although far different than the original Dior Homme, Dior Homme (2020) takes the old DNA and turns it masculine and modern. Francois Demachy works his magic by reworking the scent profile, adding top notes of bergamot, pink pepper, middle notes of cashmere wood, atlas cedar, patchouli, and base notes of Iso E Super, Haitian vetiver, and white musk. Completely leaving out the prominent note of iris from the original. The iconic note that gave Dior Homme it’s “lipstick” smell. I love the way this smells and how masculine it is. This is a fragrance for a man who is confident but isn’t afraid to show his softer side. A bold yet gentle person. When first sprayed, ... When first sprayed, you get a blast of the bergamot, making this a clean citrusy opening to the fragrance. As it dries down, woody notes followed by Iso E Super which adds more to the woodiness of the fragrance. As for performance, I get about 6-8 hours and 1-2 hours of projection. I recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for an everyday scent. A scent that truly lifts you up, makes you feel classy and elegant! Thank you @Influenster for the sample with my Dior Homme Sport VoxBox. I got a sample and the bottle in the pictures is mine that I had already owned.
Managed to snag a bottle of this beautiful Dior Homme Eau (now discontinued sadly) Describe in one word? Class, pure class! I wear this for interviews, and feel like a suave, dapper, elegant candidate, poised and collected. Perfect for the office as well, inoffensive, subtle but magnetic. Or daytime weddings. Projection and Sillage: strong stuff. Classic man fragrance. A good aura around me. Longevity: stays as a skin scent all day, and on clothing even longer, great value. Very soothing and calming fragrance. Get your nose on this asap! Great gift for men 35 up.
I got to try this at a department store the other day. It's similar to the Homme 2020 Dior put out. However there is enough differences where you will be able to tell them apart even to an untrained nose. Such as the addition of the note aldehydes which give it this atmosphere as if you're soaring in the clouds type smell. In the opening there is more citrus than the homme 2020 with the addition of lemon. I found it stronger and less luxurious. It is spicier as the note of pink pepper is more than just a top note. It's in the heart of the fragrance giving it even more spice. To me anyways it's like a slightly stripped down less luxurious homme 2020 mixed with something along the lines of acqua di gio. This is more youthful, it's very easy to wear, young to slightly mature crowd. All seasons and all occasions that don't involve a suit. It's slightly sweet, clean, powdery and fresh smelling. The spicier base and heart notes really make this shine. I feel they added too much aldehydes to give this a perfect 5/5 unless it reacts differently on skin but it's still really nice. I'd probably buy a 50ml of it at best as I have 100ml of homme 2020 already. If it was a sporting event I'd probably just reach for sauvage as who didn't wear axe phoenix back in the day. This is slightly easier to wear than homme 2020 so they both will have their occasions.
I received the Dior Homme Sport to try out, in exchange for my honest review. Thank you Dior and Influenster!! I have lately become as obsessed with fragrances as I am with my makeup, and am slowly learning how a description of the scent actually smells out of the bottle, especially once on skin. Since everyone's chemistry is different, all scents will smell differently on everyone. When I read the description of this cologne, I was honestly worried that I was not going to enjoy it.. or that my partner wouldn't enjoy it. I normally would not consider myself a 'woodsy scent' enthusiast, but Dior quite literally left me speechless. The initial application takes about 5-10minutes to dissipate, and does so in exquisite fashion. With a beautiful background of earthy, woodsy tones the notes on top remain crisp, clean, and invigorating. On my partner, the scent lasted the entire day and night, even through 8 hours of hard labor. I swear he smelled better when he got home from work. This scent is one that will leave you clamoring for more and looking forward to smelling/wearing daily. To top it off, it smells equally amazing as I used it for a quick scent to throw on and run errands with. I smelled like I had been in my partner's arms all night, and the scent just got better the longer I wore it. I would honestly consider this a Unisex fragrance. His birthday is coming up in a few months and I absolutely plan on purchasing him a full size bottle. Highly recommend 💜
