To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t a fan of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet Eau de Toilette upon first spritz. I’m more of a musky fragrance enthusiast, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by florals in the past… At first spritz, this very appropriately-named EDT had such a strong floral note on me that I almost washed it off. I’m happy I resisted because Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet EDT settled into a beautifully light, fresh, and oh so slighty musky “bouquet.” There was zero of that sharp, nose-stinging baby powder scent that everyone just loves. Miss Dior Rose N'Roses Eau de Toilette is my least favorite out of the three Miss Dior fragrances I tried. It is definitely heavily rose-scented. Not surprising, given the name of the fragrance. This fragrance has top notes of Geranium, Bergamot, and Italian Mandarin; middle notes of Grasse Rose and Damask Rose; and base notes of White Musk. When first applied, I am hit with a very strong scent of roses. Once this fades somewhat, I am able to pick up the musky base notes. However, I am not able to pick up any traces of the citrus in the fragrance. Essentially, this fragrance seems to lack complexity or depth. Indeed you must be patient with perfume, because sometimes they have surprise for you. The main note, it is of course floral (that’s why I bought it). For me it is more peony than rose (rose is just a small hint) and it’s also a bit fruity sometimes, depends on the weather. I smell peach and apricot mix with peony. It’s pretty smell, but not my favourite because it’s sometimes a bit cloying. In the end, one of my favorite smell shows up; it’s the musk. I would give this perfume 4 stars, if not for the eau de toilette. It is just stay a while on my skin, I think around 2-3 hours. So a blink of an eye! It’s not so worth it with the price.

This can very well work in its favor, for people who are looking for a staple fragrance that's not likely to turn anyone off. Though I'm not keen on gendering fragrances, the lean on Miss Dior is decidedly feminine. It smells like a heavy spring day in a garden bursting with flowers. The images it evokes are of bushes and branches bustling with flowers, picnic blankets and baskets of fruit and jam sandwiches. I personally would have loved some grass, or moss or even oud notes to balance it out. Though Sandalwood is mentioned in the composition, I don't get it at all on my skin. But was I to wear an organza dress for a stroll in the gardens with my parasol, Miss Dior would be the one I would reach for. I've given this 4 stars, because though it's not for me personally, I think it delivers what it intended. If a clean linear floral is what you want, I think it would work well for.
