It glides on like butter and feels incredibly weightless while still offering vibrant color and beautiful pigmentation. The radiant finish is quite glossy and feels hydrating, yet still lasts quite a long time on the lips (the bold shades will stay on for a couple hours without fading).I would definitely recommend using a lip pencil first, because the formula is so slick and buttery, it’s not easy to be precise around the lip line. They also look much darker in the tube than they are on the lips- not that they are more sheer, but they actually appear more vibrant and bright on the lips… so keep that in mind when checking out the different colors.

One of my favorite things is lipstick I love and adore trying new colours both subtle and bold shades / tones. This one is in my top five I would say, not one I use a lot as well I do enjoy kissing my partner and this isn’t all that smudge proof, so it’s a great one for going to work or when out with the girls. It doesn’t wear off fast like some lipsticks can. It does stay put for a good while, if you are eating and drinking of course it will wear faster but you would expect that from most lipsticks and it doesn’t claim to be smudge proof or a lip stain.When it comes to lipsticks my pet hates are ones that leave an oily texture, feel uncomfortable on my lips or ones that dry my lips out. I have a stunning pink shade which leaves what I would call a matte finish very sheer, sexy but oh so sophisticated.The bright shade I have doesn’t imprint as bright as it looks, so I would certainly recommend skin testing first so you’re not disappointed. Removing the lipstick is easy when it comes to lips I will just use a baby wipe but then I use a lip balm after to protect my lips. When it comes to if this product is tested on animals or I can’t really see a confirmed yes or a no? Which is a little confusing.

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! Knowing they are a relatively small (compared to Sephora etc) Australian owned brand makes it even more impressive and I'm so happy (even excited) to know my money is going to a company that highly values its customers. ... This is a really nice lipstick. I have this in 2 shades, Why Not and Classic Matte (those are the names), and I greatly enjoy both. Classic Matte, the shade is along the lines for me similar to Maybelline's Touch of Spice (NOT a dupe, but similar for me, shade-wise), with a slight hint of red, though, so it is as if I layered Touch of Spice with a warm red shade...Nice. I like it. Stays put, no transfer (will transfer slightly on the kiss test). Classic Matte also lasts pretty considerably well for me through a meal, enough color is left that I do not have to worry about applying. Wears off evenly and nicely, not turning garish shades like many lipstick shades along this color scheme do for me. Why Not is a warm peach on me. Why Not is not a particularly unique ... Both apply smoothly and evenly and wear-time for me with these is about 3 to 4 hours..so that is pretty standard for me with lipsticks. No feathering or slipping, which my aging soon to be 47 year old lips appreciate, no accenting of lip lines (no "raisin lips"), and not turning funny or funky colors and neither gets gummy or funky looking for me as the day wears on. The colors stay true to shade (which can be a rare thing for me), so I really appreciate that, especially. These do smell considerably, a little like a perfume, or, dare I say, "grandma's lipstick"..... So.. basically, if you do not like scented (especially perfume type scented) lipsticks, these may not be for you. The scent does eventually dissipate within about half an hour for me, but for a good 10 or 15 minutes, the floral/perfume scent is sure pretty pungent. I am not a fan of scented lip products, but this scent does dissipate soon enough for me that it is not an issue. Comfortable on the lips. An all-around really nice lipstick (if the initial smell does not bother you); and I am putting a couple more shades on my wish list. I am not one to spend a lot on lipsticks, as I feel drugstore brands have come a long way, but I feel this line from Dior is very nice, and an occasional splurge -especially for something that you will use a lot, is a nice thing once in a while.

Pretty much perfect lipstick. The Dior 999 line is iconic for a reason. Yes, it costs a lot of money, but you're getting everything you pay for. With the accompanying Dior Lip Liner in 999, you get all day wear that is perfectly comfortable and absolutely gorgeous. It's an iconic true neutral red, and would probably go with almost any skin tone (but do note that it is a shade lighter than Fenty Stunna universal shade). The bullet is not an ideal shape so I find it works best with a lip brush. The formula applies smooth as butter on the lips, and never gets dry throughout the day, while still being a true satin finish and not being too moist. I can wear this all day and not feel uncomfortable. It will transfer, as all satin lipsticks do, but I do not find that it ... MorePretty much perfect lipstick. With the accompanying Dior Lip Liner in 999, you get all day wear that is perfectly comfortable and absolutely gorgeous. It's an iconic true neutral red, and would probably go with almost any skin tone (but do note that it is a shade lighter than Fenty Stunna universal shade). The bullet is not an ideal shape so I find it works best with a lip brush. The formula applies smooth as butter on the lips, and never gets dry throughout the day, while still being a true satin finish and not being too moist. I can wear this all day and not feel uncomfortable. It will transfer, as all satin lipsticks do, but I do not find that it smudges with eating. It survives most meals and pretty much all drinks. You probably will have to touch up a bit throughout the day, but because it's such a statement lipstick you'll just feel really classy doing so. It's so versatile, you can wear it for a both a modern or vintage look, either effortless or very polished, depending on how you do it. This has become my signature shade and I'll probably be buying it my whole life.
