Dior Sauvage Shower Gel - 250ml

If you like sausage perfume, you will most likely want to try this shower gel. Yes, pricey for just shower gel, but it’s worth for a try. My fiancé loves it and he calls it as “longevity booster” for a good reason 😊 fresh, manly scent as perfume version. Don’t need much for 1 shower, so the bottle lasts pretty long time. I took 1 star off due to annoying pump only. Overall , Highly recommend it

Came across this men’s fragrance via a free sample, which I liked. Since my wife passed away some three years ago I’m left to my own devices when it comes to after shave, etc. so I treated myself for Christmas and pleased I did. Great smell and lasts well into the day. The shower gel is a great compliment to the after shave for that all round freshness and works well as a shampoo. Recommended.

Faulty bottle?

Bought as a Christmas present for my other half. This was on his wish list for a few months after trying a sample of it. It smells as good as the fragrance but he was a little disappointed with the fact it doesn’t seem to lather much and so he feels it makes him use more. We also don’t know if his bottle is defective or if it’s a design flaw but the pump doesn’t seem very good. Seems you have to make extra effort to get the shower gel out. Considering it’s £44 I would expect it to be a lot better!

Great shower gel, but HORRIBLE bottle

I love the scent. I love the shower gel, but the bottle is bothersome. Its just a horrible, horrible bottle considering the previous bottle, which was more of a squeeze bottle then the current one. It's very tricky as another reviewer stated. I may not purchase any more and I have been using this shower gel for the past four years almost. When they switch the bottle back then I will go back to it.

Mixed Massages

Overall, I liked the shower gel in terms of aroma and texture, though I found the foam dilutes quickly, so a second application is needed on the shower sponge. The biggest drawback that stops me buying the product is the dispensing unit. The design of the plunger means the bather cannot easily squeeze the shower gel onto the sponge . The bottle needs to be placed on a firm surface, to take the weight of the downward pressure on the plunger. This is not possible in a shower, where you want to be able to easily squeeze a shower gel on to a sponge.

Ruined a good product

I have been ordering this shower gel for a while. When I received my last order I had and unpleasant surprise. The packaging has changed but also the scent. It used to come in a rectangular container and to dispense you just had to squeeze. The new dispenser is a disaster, it's very hard to pump the gel out. But the worst part is that the scent has been changed and it's now very strong and heavy. I wanted a shower gel not perfume.

Wonderful and widely acceptable fragrance since my initial purchase. Most of all, I myself love it. I will eventually try the other enhancements as well such as, the body wash, shaving cream etc...! Moreover, everyone's body chemistry is different however, this product compliments my body chemistry perfectly. Thanks to all the chemist who put all their long hours into this product development.

What can I say???? Dior is just pure luxury and outstanding quality, my boyfriend and I both love the fragrance and having received a full size shower gel, we were both blown away by their generosity. I think this shower gel will be in our favorite list. Smells amazing, not drying and the body seems to be enveloped by the fragrance the rest of the day. It is such a nice find and I highly recommend the shower gel to others who are a fan of DIOR products. I have used Dior Homme for ages and really, really love the Sauvage range too. I will be treating myself to other things in that range for my birthday in May

Sauvage is definitely for The Charming

Smell nice but I don’t receive a complimentary gift which the website mentioned. I called CS and they said I can return the item if I am not satisfied. What kind of service is it? At least you should say to the customer that you will resend it to the customer once the complimentary gifts are restocked. Beauty items are small and your service is lousy and who dares to buy Dior bags, wallets or accessories?

Smells good. Difficult to use.

I enjoy the scent of the gel, and the presentation is fine. However, the actual use of the bottle is terrible. It only pumps tiny amounts at a time, and it is difficult to use in the shower. A bottle similar to that which is used for Bath & Body Works shower gels would be preferable.
