This perfume is a ten out of ten for me. It’s an absolute must have. Although I consider this scent to be more of an evening fragrance, it really doesn’t have to be. It’s not heavy at all! It’s rather sophisticated and feminine and will suite both younger and older audience. You just can’t go wrong with it! It’s a staple in my perfume collection.

First, as others have mentioned, the packaging is very elegant. It would make a lovely gift.In terms of the scent, I initially thought it was quite masculine. However, the scent (at least on me) mellows after half an hour of wearing it. To me, it smells like spices, an almost peppery smell. I wasn’t sure if I would wear it as it’s a stronger scent to what I normally wear but I’ve worn it every day this week. Personally, I think it’s a great winter scent and I probably wouldn’t wear it on a hot sunny day when I would prefer something fresher but it’s a lovely addition to my perfume collection.For me, a positive is that it lasts longer than the Diptyque Eau de Rose.I think it would work on men as well; my husband said he would wear it.
I was honestly surprised at how much I'm enjoying this perfume -- the patchouli is very prominent within the formula but not at all overwhelming; especially as the perfume dries down after about ten minutes, the scent has a beautiful creaminess alongside the warm spice. This is definitely a unisex scent to my mind -- would smell just as good on a guy as on a woman. The sillage isn't enormous but people will certainly notice it if they're close to you -- I've only been wearing it a few days, and have already got several compliments. It's also fairly long wearing -- I catch hints of it throughout the day -- and the bottle is a thing of beauty. Definitely worth trying if you're someone who likes less 'perfumey' scents -- natural, close to the skin, but still very sexy.
I adore the smell of this. It is so multifaceted and unique and evolves so much as I wear it. Makes me feel like an artist in the late 60s. Unfortunately it just does not stick on the skin no matter how many sprays or methods I go with. After a few hours it’s gone and no one else can smell it on me either. So unfortunate as it starts so pungent you’d think it wasn’t the case. If they had a fragrance balm or oil or anything else I would absolutely buy it in this scent to try and find the magic formula that sticks as I love it so much.
I got a sample of Tempo Eau de Parfum in a recent order. It is a very classy patchouli dominant scent. It also smells green and woody. Lasting power is pretty good.Unfortunately for me, my hubby doesn't like patchouli and he senses it very strongly here, so I will not be going for a full bottle of this otherwise very pretty fragrance.
I absolutely love patchouli by Tom Ford but that was discontinued. So was looking to try another patchouli perfume. And was this a a great hit. IT’s patchouli heaven. Smokey woody great balance not too much woody. But the patchouli is just spot on for me. If you love patchouli and smoky this is for you. Love
I was sent a sample of this and was unsure what to make of it at first. If you like those scents which smell undefinable, but like warm skin, or that reflect your body chemistry like Molecule, than you would probably love this. Personally I like white florals so I wouldn't wear this but it is an amazing smell, it smells expensive and it lasts ages. I actually used ti as a room fragrance and I could still smell it days later. It doesn't really smell of patchouli, but smells like a warm musk with powdery notes. I would definitely try other Diptyque fragrances are this and try them as room fragrances _ I can't believe how this filled the room for so long. It's a good fragrance if you like unisex scents .
I wanted to love this perfume as I was endeavoring to find a quality patchouli; this wasn't' that. To be fair it could be my chemistry but the scent of this perfume reminded me of a decent cardboard and even at that it didn't have any staying power which was probably a plus. When I first opened the bottle I was so excited but as soon as I sprayed my wrists I could tell this wasn't for me. I do indeed remember the scent of good heady patchouli growing up in the 60's and 70's but this didn't even remotely remind me of that.
