PS5 disc drives are gold dust due to the PS5 Pro coming out. I bought this when Very had stock, they don't now. On opening the Very parcel I noticed that the seal was broken on the Sony box, seal broken you cannot trust that the device is good. I reported it to Very and the item will be sent back. Very do not have stock now so I will have the fun of trying to find another!

Haven't used yet but keeping as a backup for our disc version. Make sure you have the slim model, we do not for our digital model, so this isn't useful. My fault, I didn't notice the difference.

It's very easy to install and it works great, you only need to “activate” the drive, (register it on the Ps5), for which you need an Internet connection. It should be mentioned that it works for both models of the slim version, if you have the standard one, it serves as a replacement. A bit pricey but it's the only way to upgrade your PS5.
Just for info this only works with Playstation Slim and Pro, it doesn't work with the original Playstation.I would recommend this product!

Great addition to the digital ps5. Allows you to play ps4 games as well as obviously the ps5 games. You can also play blu rays and dvds. What's not to like. Big thumbs up.

Great product it's very productive if want want to buy cheaper games on disc instead of paying full price on the playstation store.Very easy assemble it's literally just remove panel and just replace the panel with the disc tray just attaches like the panel.Would recommend buying a stand as when the disc tray is attached you have to stand it vertically as it won't lay horizontally due to being off balance
