Bought this for my son for Christmas, my ten year old spent a long time trying to assemble it for him but pieces don’t fit together properly and instructions are difficult to understand. The worst part is that the pieces don’t fit together properly, and pieces are missing. I will be returning this and getting a different marble run.

This was given as a gift to my kids who were super excited to put it together. After 15 minutes they had already broken 10 pieces. Unlike other people, our instructions were in colour but still difficult to follow. I ended up putting it together while they were at school, hoping it would still be fun once assembled. I broke several pieces as well and had to get creative to complete it. The crank didn’t work, marbles got stuck and fell off the track. They had fun with it regardless, but I wouldn’t waste your money. There are better marble runs out there.

A child could not put this together on their own. The chain & crank does not work you have manually pull it up. We researched this problem & everyone had the same problem. RETURNED.

I purchased this item for my 10 year old, with a rating for 6+ it was impossible to construct. The instructions are in black and white, with the pieces in color, nothing seemed to fit together properly. My son tried to attach the crank and it broke,. Wish I had read the reviews before buying..
The material is very flimsy, gears slip on each other, and everything flexes making itvery hard to make it function at all. Oddly enough, the marbles were all extremely oblong, luckily we had some others. My son had really wanted a marble set, this one was an incredible disapointment. I lost reciept so cant even take it back. Its not even worthy of being donated to a thrift store. It went in the garbage.
Bought this for my stepson's 9th birthday thinking he could build and rebuild it but no, it's cheap and breaks if you're not EXTREMELY careful assembling it. I think it broke during his first assembly AND if ONE part breaks the whole thing won't work properly. Oh, and even if you're able to assemble it without breaking anything you have to align everthing exactly right of the marbles just fly off.
I bought this for an 8 year old, and have already spent 4 hours myself, and will likely need to spend four more. This is WAY beyond the 6 year old level as advertised. If you buy this for a kid, expect to put it together yourself. Sure they will play with it once you build it.
Box came missing parts, a number of the molded components had mold flashing, one molded functional piece came short material. After assembly marbles would all fall off at the same point mid run, confirmed assembly and attempted some alterations to fix and currently haven’t been able to resolve this issue. Chain for moving marbles does not move fluidly and can requires focus to operate (for and adult) which draws from being able to enjoy the rest of the marbles running the track.
The instructions are very difficult to read — the pieces don’t connect properly — the final product does not function. A very frustrating toy. I build lego technic with my kids all the time and that’s seamless. This however is garbage.
This can only be assembled in one way, with one track formation. The kid was bored in less than one day. Of the 300+ pieces, barely 20 are tracks, rest are structure support.There are other marble runners which let the kid use his creativity to form unlimited track formations of various lengths and shapes which keeps him engaged and interested.
