If you love Toy Story, you are going to love this new for 2022 Buzz Lightyear! As soon as my kids pulled him out of the packaging, they were using the karate chop action! Even though the toy is quite tall it is easy to hold while pressing the karate action button on his back. He has over 30+ sayings, and the volume is actually pretty perfect, not too loud, and not too quiet. His clear plastic helmet opens and closes. Although the plastic is pretty thin and after a day or so it became loose and opens on its own when moving him around. It would be nice if the plastic was a bit thicker. Both of my kids said they wished the 3 fake buttons on the front actually worked. It would be nice if these buttons worked to pop out his wings, turn on a light for his laser and open ... Standing at a little over 10 inches tall, this Buzz Lightyear looks like the real deal! He is made with a high quality, durable, plastic and has most decals directly printed on him. His arms and legs have good range of motion and when the purple button on is back is pressed his right arm moves up and down making various chopping sounds. Additionally, he says various sayings when the big red button is pressed, including the classic "To Infinity, and beyond!" This Buzz does have less functionality than some of the more expensive Buzz Lighyear action figures (ex. he does not have expandable wings, no lasser, and the three smaller buttons on his chest don't do anything) but overall this figure is a great value.

This toy is definitely cool, with an updated array of phrases, but it lacks in holding my child's attention since it has extremely limited play functions.The original had wings that would pop out for pretend flight; this one does not. The original had a "laser"; this one does not. This edition has a "karate chop" action with phrases, but its really not enough to be too entertaining.Overall, its an okay purchase, but i wouldnt pick it up at the store on any normal shopping trip.

My son is was so excited to get this toy. It is a classic Buzz Lightyear. It has two buttons. One is just makes Buzz say a lot of different phrases and the other makes him Karate chop while saying something. Overall, great for a 4 year old. My one issue is that it had no off switch...can I just say that is super annoying. Other than that it is really good solid quality. This thing can take a beating from my son and still look good. I'm glad he likes it and I would recommend it for kids who love Toy Story and want a toy with an interactive aspect to it.

The Action chop buzz lightyear is one of those toys that you can keep buying generation after generation. I had one of these for my first son, he played with it constantly and loved it so much. I received this one and now my second son has one of his own. They love pressing the buttons to make different sounds and making the arm chop. They also enjoy pressing the button to make the wings pop out so that Buzz can "fly". It is sturdy and well made and can also stand on its own. I will be purchasing another one of these for my nephew for his birthday this year. This is just one of those toys that each generation of kids will love because Toy Story is a favorite of everyone!
This buzz doesn't have many features considering the price of it! It doesn't have a working laser with light or sound, the wings don't come out, there aren't any wings! The pannel control on his arm doesn't lift. It's bulky and stiff. You can buy a much better quality buzz from the Disney store and its cheaper! Very disappointing.

At first I was skeptical about this buzz because it seemed a little overpriced. This toy is so DURABLE!! My nephew is a destructive little boy and this thing has managed to keep all limbs attached despite the destruction. Was a little bummed he didn’t ONLY say “to Infinity and beyond”, but how can I be mad when he says so much more than that! Definitely worth it. My nephew has had this for 6 months now and it’s his favorite.
We love buzz but he has one big flaw. The flaw really only affects me as the mom. So let’s start with pros.Pros:• he’s made from a durable but not heavy material. My toddlers have dropped him claiming he’s “flying” more times than I can count and I don’t even see a mark on him• the material on his face is not shiny, it’s almost textured (see pic) makes him easy to grip and also seems like the texture would help the paint on his face stay long term. We have Jessie and woody dolls that have paint coming off and they have super slick shiny surfaces. So it’s a plus it feels made to last to scratches and drops but also that it’s wipeable still without being super slick?• many different sounds and sayings not just one over and overCons:• that being said … this thing ... It legitimately never stops talking. Ever. It falls? Talking. Kid throws it, button pushed when hits the floor, talking, kid pushes two button options 582985 times, talking talking talking. Never. Not. Talking.• here’s the biggest con to follow up with the previous one: unless I’m blind - there is no off switch. Unless you unscrew the plate off and remove a battery there is no way to make this thing shush up other than taking it away from your kid who inevitably loves it (rude) or removing battery (lame) so you go from 0 to 10 within about 20 minutes of your child grabbing this thing. Sad because it goes with our collection but I’m about to have a breakdown this thing has me at my wits end.This buzz is a perfect mimic of the buzz in the movies and your kid is sure to love it! And it is sure to drive you insane.
