The materials used feel durable, and the construction is robust without being overly heavy. I appreciate the attention to detail in the design, from the foldable arms for portability to the LED lights that make it easy to spot in the sky. It's evident that the manufacturers prioritized both functionality and aesthetics.Battery Life (4/5):While the battery life is decent, it would be great to have a slightly longer flight time. However, the included spare battery mitigates this concern, allowing for extended usage without interruption. I recommend purchasing an additional battery for extended sessions, especially for those who plan to capture a lot of footage in one outing.User-Friendly Features (5/5):Setting up and operating the Air 3 is a breeze. The user interface on the controller is intuitive, and the accompanying mobile app provides additional functionality and control. I highly recommend the Air 3 to both beginners and seasoned drone enthusiasts.
Have officially taking mine on about 35 flights and roughly 7:00 or 8 hours. Here's what I have to say about it quick and easy. I have been flying drones for quite some time I am licensed. This drone is great for a simple photos and videos but do not expect anything beyond what the DJI mini 3 does. The obstacle avoidance does not work at all. It will only stop for giant broad walls and recognizably large structures. It will not avoid anything beyond 6 to 8 ft in diameter. So basically don't take it around trees, power lines, power poles, people, and things like that. The videography is not as good as it's supposed to be there is no way this is 4k my mini 2 does a better job. Honestly since the updates I would not advise purchasing this if you are trying to get professional grade anything. I have protection on my mind so I do plan on exchanging it. It would be my solid belief that this is not worth the money. If you're going to buy an expensive drone either go with the FPV and get blade protectors if you're looking for speed and performance. If you're looking for videography and obstacle avoidance on professional level spend the extra money and get a mavic 3 pro or go with autel robotics and get one of their drones that have carbon fiber protection.

For most amateurs-professionals, this is the new default. I’m so excited to start using it on my next film set and I know I am going to get incredible footage out of it.Pros:Beautiful Video Quality: The DJI Air 3 delivers stunning video quality with both its wide-angle and medium telephoto lenses. The 10-bit log footage ensures excellent color grading options for professional videographers.Strong Connection: With its RC-2 controller, this drone maintains a robust connection, allowing for smooth and uninterrupted flights, even at distances of up to 12 miles (1080/60p). I never once worried about losing connection, even when I had it at such high altitudes (on top of the already high Colorado altitude).Large Learning Library in App: The app features a wealth of tutorials and educational materials, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced drone pilots. Everything from your basic how to fly videos to how to get artsy shots.Fly More Bundle Extras: The Fly More Combo is packed with essential accessories, including extra batteries, propellers, a carrying case, and more. This bundle is a must if you are thinking about buying this, the added value is STRONG.10-Bit Log Footage from Both Lenses: The ability to capture 10-bit log footage from both the wide-angle and medium telephoto lenses provides advanced post-processing flexibility for colorists and editors like myself.Great Battery Life: With up to 46 minutes of flight time, the DJI Air 3 offers exceptional endurance, allowing you to capture more content on a single charge.Incredible Set of Features: From the basics like robust obstacle avoidance to smart flight modes like FocusTrack which keeps your subject in focus during movement, to Quickshot which has several cool presets for fun videos.Photography and Videography Chops: The 48MP cameras, featuring both wide-angle and medium telephoto lenses, are capable of producing high-quality images and videos, catering to both photography and videography enthusiasts.Tutorials Built Into Software: The built-in tutorials walk you through how to operate the drone effectively and maximize its capabilities from the get go.Waypoints Support: The introduction of Waypoints support on the Air series is a significant enhancement for mission planning and creating complex flight paths for capturing stunning footage.Cons:FAA Approval Required: The drone's size places it just above the weight limit requiring FAA approval for flight. This means you'll need to comply with additional regulations, take the test, and pay a small fee every couple years.Language Issue with Tutorial Videos: The fact that tutorial videos are typically in Chinese with auto-generated English subtitles can be frustrating for users who prefer more comprehensive English-language tutorials. When you turn on English audio, it is also auto-generated and can be difficult to understand at times.Slight Image Quality Discrepancy: While the 70mm lens delivers crisp and sharp images, the 24mm lens doesn't quite match up in terms of image quality. It’s minimal, but there is a difference.
