I am unable to use this because my receiver needs a firmware update.I’ve tried this repeatedly without success even after following the instructions on the DJI website.

A Straight Up Miracle!

Look Ma no cables! Must update your firmware on the DJI mic 2 for this to work! But OMG! This is a game changer and miracle for one-man-band shooters, clip it on and bam! 32 bit float audio is clean as can be! One less thing to think about and when you have 1000 things in your head …This matters! Thank you DJI for keeping it cheaply priced while maintaining great build quality.

Almost perfect - Would recommend for sure

If you have a compatible camera, I think the device is nearly perfect. Would be great if the device could swivel 180 degrees, but it's not necessarily a deal breaker.I can confirm it's not compatible with the Sony a7iii, unfortunately.

Compatible with Sony's Fx6

This works perfectly with my Sony FX6 camera. Although it's not listed as a compatible model in the spec sheet, I assumed it would work since it's likely wired similarly to the Sony FX3.

Excellent accessory for Sony a7iv

Even though the Sony A7IV isn't listed here, I have to say that it works perfectly with my Sony A7IV. I've been using it for days, and I love it. Honestly, the price is great for what it offers.

No more wires

The wire usually blocks the entrance of the SD card door and other Moving parts of my camera rig. Currently with this wireless setup, I have the freedom to get better access to the side of the camera and side handle.

Not supported by my Sony camera

Works great!

Having the ability to connect to my FX3 without any extra cables was key for my gimbal setup. On top of that, being able to record separate mono channels for each of the mics to a single receiver is outstanding.
