I got a Mic 2 with my Osmo Pocket3 and orderd a White one for my Osmo Action 4 . So the DJI Mic 2 Charging Case makes perfect sense. It keeps both Mic’s safe and ready to go at all times . You need to take off the Wind Filter [Cat] in order to fit in the Case but since I don’t have or need a Receiver ,I can store them in the Receiver Spot in the Case. Overall everything is “ PERFECT”.

This device does a great job, charges the mics and then provides secure protective storage for them. Only used once for charging but I so far recommend it.
I use with DJI pocket 3, LUMIX S5 mirrorless camera, Insta 360 x3 camera and iPhone 13 pro
Is it an improvement over the DJI Mic original charging case? Yes. They added a latch so it doesn't flip open by accident, which was a complaint I had about the original DJI Mic charging case. But there was more potential to innovate here. Rode added a data connection to the charging case for their Wireless Pro kit, which allows you to dump the internal recordings from both transmitters over a single connection, as well as update firmware of all the devices, all while also charging the case. DJI didn't bother to make that kind of enhancement - they just gave us the same functionality as the previous generation with a latch added. So it works fine, and it's better than the DJI Mic 1 case, but I've been starting to realize DJI did not do as much with the overall DJI ... MoreIs it an improvement over the DJI Mic original charging case? I bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator kit which came with one DJI Mic 2. I decided to buy a second mic but didn't need the entire kit. Since I have the original DJI Mic kit, I bought the charging case as a stand-alone product to complete the kit and save money. I love the metal feel and the new way it snaps closed.
Must have accessory for DJI Mic 2.
