No loss in quality. It gives you extra viewing angle. There is some distortion in case you get close to a subject, but it's normal. It works perfectly on mini 3 non-pro model too, but DJI advertised it that it only compatible on pro model which is not true.

Pros: Better camera view
No real comment other than ,it works, and the drone knows when its being used.
You cannot use panoramic or sphere with this lens attached. Recent sunsets using timelapse came out well with the wide angle attached. Fits very easily and can be detached quickly if your shot requires closer view. One small complaint. When attached, the lens falls straight down. Be careful not to initiate the drone on uneven surfaces. The camera will be blocked from its startup routine. It sits less that 1/4" from the ground.

Just what I expected. Love it
I had to wait months to get the .65 wide adapter lens for the Mini 3Pro. It is easy to attach but probably also easy to lose because itis so small. Does come with a nice case. With drone altitude limits,this lens is a must have. Just the extra bit of coverage that you mayneed. It does produce curved distortion though so use your favoritedistortion correction program to fix. And the price is nice.
