It's hard believe that there was any significant upgrades to the Mini3 pro that wouldn't take it over the 249 gram weight threshold, but here it is. The additional sensors, led down lighting, automated flight variations, low light enhancement for the camera, just to name a few, and the improved transmission adds more than one could have hoped for in a mini series drone. Very impressive ,and quiet to boot! Thankfully the batteries are the same as the Mini3 pro which offers the much needed extended flight series batteries to compete with the big boys, the Mavic3 and Air 3 . I can't imagine an upgrade ! Thanks Dji.

If you are on a limited budget but you still need to get a professional product to your clients, look no further. The fact that I can shoot in D-log-m (not the best log from dji), shoot at 60fps in d-log and can shoot vertically. Wow. For most social media client work this is a dream. No need to crop in to make a vertical. Only upgrade I would suggest is buying ND Filters so you can shoot at the proper shutter speed. Great starter drone for those up and coming creators.

As good as the Mini 3 Pro was, the Mini 4 Pro is better. 360 degree obstacle avoidance, waypoint flight, and DLOG-M are worth the upgrade. However, there are glaring disappointments you don’t hear from influencers. ND filters and lenses from the Mini 3 do not fit the Mini 4. And just like the Mini 3 when it was released, there are no ND filters or lenses available from ANYONE, including DJI, at the moment. With the fixed 1.7 aperture, This is a DJI failure- produce a product that requires ND and other filters and lenses, then plan to have them available at the time of product release. This is a maddening way that DJI operates. Second, the addition of waypoints is huge, but half-baked. Gimble angle setting with visual lens coverage depiction was available by “lessor” ... I had purchased Mini 3 Pro just few weeks before release of Mini 4 pro. I am a new user and got an opportunity to fly M3P for 3 weeks and loved it. The main concern I had was lack of side impact sensors, especially for new pilots like me. It was nerve racking trying any of the preset shots because almost all of them require sideways flying.Since the price difference was minimal and my purchase of M3P was less than 30 days, I decided to exchange my M3P with M4P. I LOVE IT!!! It is amazing. I have already done some amazing shots right out of box without having to worry about crashing it. RC2 controller is also extremely powerful and even though I am not a professional drone pilot, I feel that this drone is good multi purpose drone, especially for frequent travelers ...
