DJI Mini 4K Drone - Fly More Combo

At 249g this is a small drone. Normally this would not come under CAA Regulations with regards registration. But it has a 4K camera, so just like any 250g and up drone you have to legally register to fly this drone. In flight it is extremely stable and responsive. In the UK drones are limited to 120m vertically and 500m horizontally and line of sight with the drone must be maintained. Due to this drones size it is not easy to track it to those limits. The drone has many photo and video features and will return to "Home" at the press of a button. Packed int a carry case it is easily portable, unlike other larger drones that require a rucksack or suitcase. This is a fantastic drone to fly. You would no regret buying one.

There are essentially endless tutorials on You-Tube. I'm still not feeling masterful, but the automatic features will keep you out of a lot of troubles. The refurbished unit I bought had a downward sensor malfunction (this drone doesn't feature lateral sensor protection which will cost you about another $1,500 in a higher end machine), but the factory return and repair was fast and seamless and covered in warrantee. My first DJI and I'm absolutely blown away. Video is beautiful, smooth and crisp, even in wind. Batteries allow long flights. Movement is precise. Hovering is precise. The level of auto control almost spoils the user. App is informative and easy to use. I haven't even started working through all the features yet but out of the box it amazes at its basic purpose: fly up high and take great photos and videos.
