Love this product! So incredibly easy to use. I do a lot of boating and it’s really difficult to get a steady shot in my videos. This product has made such a big impact to my video quality. Highly recommend

#Techie I'm 50/50 on this device. I have watched reviews over and over again. And I still have problems with my phone which is 6" #pocophoneF1 trying to balance in standby mode. The way smartphone are made with all the buttons pushed to the right side. There is only so much space you have free to try and balance your mobile device. It could be my lack of skills with #videography which could be a issue, but I'm not that only one with this comon issues. And this #Gimbal isn't really good in #highwinds as it will unbalance your mobile phone. This was a little hard to get use too. However, the videos recorded with this are a game changer you can see the difference in recording in motion with this and without it the camera does not record all shaky. You also download a app and it allows you to edit and post videos

A Useful Videography/Photography Tool

I purchased this device after testing it out at the Apple store. I must tell you, it improves the quality of your video by at least 90%. By profoundly reducing camera shake, you get sequences that are much more cinematic.My suggestion to a prospective buyer is to go ahead and purchase this device, and practice mastering your ninja walk so you can get the best possible results. Walking forward is the situation where you are most likely to get camera shake, so the ninja walk reduces that bouncing motion.You can also use this from a moving vehicle. If you are the passenger, roll your window down and get to work. This is a great resource to have in your toolkit.While you are at it, pick up an extra battery so you are never left dead in the dust.

It does what it is designed to do. Be mindful that that the clamp to hold the device is limited in size. I have a Google Pixel 3 XL with an Otterbox case and it will NOT fit with the case on. I have to remove the Otterbox to fit in the cradle. Other than that it works as advertised. ONE QUIRK: Sometimes the various functions like zoom and record start/stop quit working. You have to forget the device in your Bluetooth settings and re-pair it. I am unsure if it is a problem with the Pixel or the Osmo.

Main Issues I have been facing: - cost of other accessories are very high (i.e. tripod). - The transition of landscape to portrait is not smooth - I wish once in portrait/selfie mode, the joystick functions differently than the landscape mode. - I love shooting in my mobile's 60 fps FHD, but using the DJI app does not allow it. It would be great if I can full control over my phone's camera using the gimbal. - Zooming while recording is not possible. In regards to value, I am not really aware of other products that you can compare to. But I did find it costly and it took me almost 2 weeks before I gave in and bought one.
