I purchased the DJI OSMO Mobile 6 in October as I started my career in social media. It has been the most beneficial piece of equipment I own for content creation. I use my gimbal daily. The functionality is so smooth and leaves your videos seamless.

I’m love this stabilizer so much. It’s tracking feature is pretty amazing too. I wish it would “predict” the movement where if i go too far out of frame, it’ll pick up my face when i return into frame again. Also when I first tried it I had a hard time moving controlling it via joy stick. The video was kind of jumping cause the motor wasn’t smooth. I think this might just be a trial and error situation though!
This is an early on model. I used this briefly and it could not handle my phone, which is on the larger sized. Using a smaller phone will work. Overall it’s okay. Never tested battery life because I would end up using the Ronin RSC2.
I purchased this device after testing it out at the Apple store. I must tell you, it improves the quality of your video by at least 90%. By profoundly reducing camera shake, you get sequences that are much more cinematic.My suggestion to a prospective buyer is to go ahead and purchase this device, and practice mastering your ninja walk so you can get the best possible results. Walking forward is the situation where you are most likely to get camera shake, so the ninja walk reduces that bouncing motion.You can also use this from a moving vehicle. If you are the passenger, roll your window down and get to work. This is a great resource to have in your toolkit.While you are at it, pick up an extra battery so you are never left dead in the dust.

Made from quality parts by the industries leading manufacturer. There is a reason this Osmo Mobile 1 originally sold for 3 times the price the Osmo Mobile 2 sells for today, mostly quality aluminum construction compared to plastic. Battery time is sufficient. I recommend buying a extra battery if you plan on doing many hours of use. Many inexpensive accessories available, my favorite being, the bottom of handle tripod adapter.
Difficulty stabilizing the body. Charge port is defective. Had to try multiple cables to get it charged. Probably a good product but this one is very used.
