It's quite heavy and robust, you certianly need more then 1 battery.The gamepad is a nice feature and is so much easier to control it, and allows mouse and Keyboard.Have not yet had the chance to try the beads, but bring able to fire pallets will add to the fun.If there is one negative, is the assembly manual is far to small.If you wear glasses, may have a job following it.There are guides on your tube helped me with the build.Went together with no issues, and parts fitted perfectly.A piece of advice is don't do the screws up to tight, especially self tapping screws.A nice robot, but still have yet to get used to controlling it as it can go sideways as well as back and forward, making the learning curve harder than a ... MoreI love this, product is quailty. It's a toy but it's not necessarily for kids. Big boy (man-child 😅) like me enjoyed it so much. There's so much to learn and explore. The 2.5hrs spent to build this is an experience in itself. The satisfaction of seeing and exploring this marvelous piece of 'toy' is just awesome. You can always trust DJI to come up with quality 'toys'. Also, thank you Toytag for the prompt delivery. Will definitely recommend my fellow 'man-child' to get their toys here

It's a fantastic toy to teach your kids with. My daughter is completely in love with it. It has lots of speed and cool features. We've set up obstacle courses and had races. We're going to try coding special actions into it now that we've got the basics of it's operation down. Letting my daughter build it was an awesome experience. I helped her read the directions, then she assembled everything and she's 6.

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of drones so I never try to learn what DJI is. I saw the youtube video of S1 and my little brother's birthday was coming up soon. I decided to buy two so that we could play battle as the commercial introducing. They were really fun! This product really gives an e-sport gameplay experience and robot mixture. And the programing academy made the price worthy. I'm a CS engineer and I have to say that the programming integration motivated my young brother also my interest in teaching him. It's a comprehensive learning path for 9-12 grade kids, in my personal opinion tho.I'm looking forward to seeing some related contests to participate!

One air bag for a product that is about 5-10 lbs in weight. Fortunately, there were no major damages to the shipping box.1 star on the quality control of the product; overall the product looks nice, however quality control is questionable. We inspected the product and found missing parts; we contacted the manufacture and are still waiting for reply. Since this will be a gift for my nephew, I will have to return the product if we don't hear from the manufacture soon. Any fan of RC cars, building things and tech won’t be disappointed with this Robomaster toy.Loads of basic drivable fun using your smart phone and in depth programming options to keep busy for hours! It is something that’s hard to put down until you’re forced to when the battery dies. The onboard camera has a quality picture and the shooting mechanism is quite powerful! The speed and responsiveness of this bot is absolutely impressive and the build quality is fantastic. One of the funnest features is driving sideways! Although it is on the more expensive side for a what’s easy to call a toy car. There is much more to this robot on wheel then at first glance that makes the price tag easier to swallow.
My 9 year old boy assembled it by himself and really enjoyed the 2.5 hour work. Then it became a great robot toy for a lot fun even in the solo mode. After a couple of days, my son began to program it using Scratch, and it is a education platform. It's a motivating toy for kids.

Fun to assemble. Zero confusion. Sturdy and rugged. Once assembled it's only a matter of downloading the app on your phone or tablet, connecting via wifi or router and you're off chasing your wife's pets. Better than a video game.
