Balanced my C200 with Canon 17-55 lens! Used the extended monitor cable, and smallest battery. Not using the focus motor yet, as the continuous autofocus on the lens is fantastic. So far so good! C200 NOT recommended for this Ronin, but for me its working. I had to have C200 battery life and 12bit 4k, none of which are possible with C70 or new 6Dii.

Since I have never owned one of these electronic gimbals, allow me to describe what this is like as my first gimbal.1. If you've packed this into its bag, the setup procedure can be very involved. First, the gimbal needs to be assembled, and then your camera needs to be balanced on it. After turning it on, you'll need to use the gimbal's software to further balance and calibrate the device.2. There are multiple USB C ports on the gimbal, but they aren't numbered or labeled correctly. Although they have symbols, it's not clear what each port is used for.3. There are a few peculiar add-ons for this. I struggled with the

I'm coming from the Rs2. This is a night-to-day difference. The older version was just not strong enough to hold my c70 with a cage. This has more than enough power and the locking mechanism changes your life. This is far better than the previous models. I will use the other rs2 for holding my iPhone. The manual focus wheel you get to attach is way better too. I'm still impressed with how the Raven eye works. How you can connect your cell phone to the camera through it, and tilt up and down with your wrist to move the camera. I think if anyone goes on youtube to watch what all you can do with he RS4 you will see that you need this in your life.

I also noticed that you can control focus from a connected mobile device, but I haven't tested that in the real world yet.Finally, one of the big upgrades from the RS3 series is the native vertical shooting mode, which is pretty painless to switch the camera from one setup to the other as needed, though depending on the weight distribution of your camera, it may be harder to balance in vertical mode - that said, if you get it close and have it auto-calibrate, it'll hold your camera fine - it'll just run the motors harder to keep it stable, running through the battery a little faster.The case it ships with is fine, but a little on the small side if you have extra accessories as I do, I'll probably eventually get a bigger case, but I was able to re-arrange the small case to hold the critical pieces, the extra battery and dual handgrip.As I've seen in other reviews online, there's probably not quite enough different between the RS3 pro and RS4 Pro for some to justify the upgrade, but for me coming from a much older model, it was a much needed upgrade, and for the first time I felt like it addressed every single complaint I had about the older rig, so if you have an older Ronin or no stabilizer at all, it's absolutely worth going for the RS4 Pro.
This is my first drone since the Ronin-S. The technology that DJI has been putting out these past few years has been exceptional! I purchased the PRO version over the RS4 for the option to add the accessories that are compatible with the PRO. this gimbal is SMART. It feels like it can sense what you’re thinking before you even execute your moves. It’s so smooth. I’ve been hearing that the 4 is not much different than the 3. But if you’re like me who’s needed an upgrade from the older gimbals or other brands, definitely consider buying the RS4 PRO or the RS4.
Initially out of the box it had a firmware issue and the RS4 would not let me use it. Had to reach out to DJI, and ultimately they were able to help me resolve the issue. They had to downgrade the firmware to get the RS4 to work. Odd issue, sharing this to hopefully help others. Mildly frustrating situation out of the box, but overall stoked with my purchase now that it works!!! Great new features! Used it on multiple shoots now, very smooth!
Overall, this is a fully functional gimbal with excellent performance, expandability for the aftermarket, and product support. With ease, DJI has become a household name, competing with brands like Dyson and Apple. They consistently deliver exceptional performances, and this mount is no exception. With this gimbal, I can't wait to go out there and produce more amazing stuff. You'll be thrilled with the performance, battery life, and aftermarket support that this device offers if you're in the market for a gimbal and this falls within your pricing range.

Loved the gimbal, absolutely HATE HATE HATE the batteries and associated nightmares. I then purchased a Ronin S, which is the same form factor as this gimbal. I very much liked the Ronin S, but it had some usability issues I didn't love.Now comes the RS 4 Pro...and I must say that this is a substantially improved product in every conceivable way. The axis-locks are DYNAMITE. So easy to move around in comparison to the previous models. The feature set is quite good. I'm sorry I didn't purchase the combo kit, but the RS 4 Pro is great even in bare-bones form.
Having owned a Ronin SC previously, it was time for an upgrade. Although I was initially considering between the RS4 and RS4 Pro, the Pro feels like a no brainer. Unless you have a very specific use case, and don’t plan to expand your rig, the pro feels like a more future proof option.Having bought the “lightweight” option before in the SC, I won’t make that mistake again. The SC compromised my ability to grow my rig organically. I had to strip my camera down every time I wanted to put it on the gimbal, which became a hassle. The RS4 pro is uncompromising.While I already run a pretty heavy rig, it feels good to know I can add more weight still.
