This little drone was a great starter product for my daughter and I, until it lost connection for a moment while we were using it, and it went up and up to about 50 feet, and flew away out of site. Very disappointed and a completely flawed product.

Bought this as an entry to drones for my son and its a lot of fun to play with. Surprisingly stable and easy to control with GameSir T1d controller.Drawbacks are short battery life (10 mins), have to connect to the Tello wifi and it can overheat, which forces a cool down period. That only happens indoors or when its hot. Outside the air cools it enough.The edu edition is actually pretty cool, supports Python and an SDK to program the drone.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son after reading good reviews. Little did I know that the software was developed by a 3rd party named Wistron Shanghai who does NOTHING to maintain it. It only works with very specific old phones and tablets. Good for you if you have one of those but bad if you update your technology every 2-3 years. Shame on Wistron, shame on Ryze, and shame on DJI for this steaming pile of garbage.

Would have given 5 stars..but for some reason,the prop guards dont fit...otherwise really great little drone..

Bought on a whim to be honest and did not expect to much of it after using larger drones but am pleasantly surprised.very good indoor flyer.
