Product Description:DMC satin floss is a shiny radiant thread made from 100-percent rayon fibres. It is the shiniest DMC thread available and it glides easily through fabric. The bright fibres of satin floss make this thread ideal for creating surface embroidery stitches which reflect light beautifully. Satin floss is comprised of 6 size 25 easily separated strands, allowing to adjust the thickness of stitching by using a different number of strands. It gives a wonderful brightness to all designs in traditional embroidery as well as in cross stitch. A shimmering brightness, a touch as soft as silk. In just a few stitches, satin gives a sheen to all designs. Its incredible soft touch will make stitching easy and pleasurable. Traditional embroidery, cross stitch the gleaming satin effect appears whatever the technique you use. The longer the stitches are, the thread will capture more light and the brightness will be more intense. In satin stitch or in flat stitch, the sheen of satin is clearly visible. Place the embroidery on a clean towel, preferably while still damp, and iron on the reverse side, at the temperature setting recommended for the fabric.
