This thread was exactly what I needed! I found 2 old child sized pillows that used to belong to my grown daughters as children .One had lost it’s stuffing and the other was coming unraveled. I decided to fix them up for one of my daughter’s girls of her own who are still young. As I was studying what I needed to do for each pillow, I realized that they were different poses of the same bunny but one had been individually stuffed and outlined and the other hadn’t. So, at Michael’s, I found the perfect thread to stuff and outline the second bunny so the granddaughters will recognize that they are the same bunny. It is still a work in progress as We just finished Christmas, but I can’t wait to give these finished pillows to my granddaughters!!

My favorite--Lovely Pearl Cotton from DMC !!

This DMC Size 8 Pearl Cotton is perfect for embroidering with something other than stranded floss. I also use it for Japanese Sashiko embroidery, so the white color I chose contrasts perfectly with an indigo blue fabric. As always, DMC is known for top quality, and this item met all expectations. Heartily recommended.

Not bad for needlepoint, but not ideal

Using this on an 18 mesh needlepoint canvas. The colors are excellent and it looks really good. My only complaint is that the thread is not a smooth as a silk or merino, and it sometimes catches in the canvas. It's comparatively thick, and at times it's difficult for the needle (#24) to pass through a hole that already has a stitch in it. I think the finished piece will look very good, but I'm not sure that I will use this for my next piece, since silk is so much easier to work with.

DMC pearl cotton floss is a great durable, affordable thread. I use it for many needlepoint projects. The color selection is extensive with many shades in each color family. The blanc white is a true white. This floss is great on 13 and 18 count needlepoint canvas.

Of course, it’s made for embroidery. I was happy with the quality and overall look. I embroidered a gingerbread house, so I didn’t pull any threads out. I needed the thick look. I loved how it turned out. Great choice.

My daughter needed red "thread" for a school project that was thick enough to see from a distance. This worked out great and was very affordable. My only critique is finding it in the store was a little difficult. It was with the embroidery floss.
