Doesn't seem like they work for all dogs/lawns, going by reviews here, but the difference was night and day for us. As a zoologist I was a bit sceptical of the claims, seemed a bit pseudoscientific, but I thought I'd try them and they definitely worked for us - the burn patches went away almost immediately, and you can tell when the rocks need replacing as the patches begin to reappear. I guess it depends on what's causing them, ie if not the metals in the water that these rocks draw in, or the individual dog(s), but worth trying if the patches are a problem for you.

Good product. Easy to follow instructions. We use in a 2 litre bowl which allows for the water to sufficiently cover the rock. They work great and urine doesn’t stain the grass. Conveniently broken into correctly sized portions for each use.

I regularly order this product as it does decrease yellow patches on grass. However it is a considerable expense to be added to your dog husbandry bill. I use half a bag at a time as that treats enough water for my single dog. This can produce the problem of splitting the rocks - they are incredibly hard!
Excellent solution to lawn brown patches. Sometimes we get large rocks, fella's only little, but easy to break up with screwdriver and hammer. Cat shares the water with him and both love it. Wouldn't be without it.
We put new turf in the backyard after the devastation of the chickens which are now on the farm. Straight away, little round patches of dead grass appeared. I recalled the rocks that solve this issue so bought some. The lawn has now returned to its pristine condition. Dog gets to pee on the lawn, lawn gets to stay green and healthy with no sign of where puppy has peed. Win win.
After reading a range of reviews I didn't have the highest of hopes but these have absolutely changed our lives. The grass can grow and the pups are happy! Once they wear off, the yellow patches return. Last longer than the expected time frame also. Buying again right now!
These rocks are amazing. We are on tank water so it's pure. Yellow patches on lawn from our girl but with Dog Rocks no yellow stains. We have Sir Walter Lawn so don't want it ruined. Will buy these without hesitation.
I bought the 600g bag thinking it would be more cost efficient. Turns out there was only 3 rocks in the bag 3 times the size of the rocks in the smaller bags. They would weigh 200 g each and the recommended amount on the packet is 100g per litre of water. I won't be purchasing again s they can't be bothered to break them down to the proper size.
These rocks really work for me! I've recently run out and realised why my grass was so burnt because one of the water bowls didn't have rocks in them. People always ask me why I have rocks in my pets bowls and when I tell them why, it's like a magic trick!
