The item itself works great when preprogrammed but the trouble is the app is really unreliable. You have to restart your phone multiple times to get it to work. If you just want something you can preprogram, it's fine but don't expect easy video functionality.

This is by far, my favorite pet product to date. Yes, it's spendy, but well worth it! Being able to watch my dog and cats while at work is so comforting. They love hearing my voice while I am gone and of course getting treats! My cat unfortunately knocked it off the table and broke it. Customer service was fantastic! Responded to my inquiry and tried to troubleshoot. When nothing worked they sent me a new one. Can't recommend them enough! Do not hesitate to purchase.

Purchased a few days ago and I’m already addicted to using it. Very fun, and gives you peace of mind. The camera is fair quality for the price, and the dispenser works well, shoots the treats about 1.5m. As long as you have a decent wifi connection you shouldn’t have any issues connecting and recording videos/taking photos and dispensing at will. The app is basic but pretty easy to use. Should also be noted that when you record videos it saves as mp4, so immediate playback on some mobile devices could be difficult.

Dogness Auto Large Dog Feeder review Having had this now for 2 weeks it seems to work ok. The app works as expected with Android mobile and also via the Ipad Pro app. Alerts are received when there is low food, food is ditrbuted and the camera seems to connect ok. It does not show the full animal tho as it is set at a certain height and not able to tell if there is food in the bowl. The photo of the feeder is when it has distributed one portion. Would I buy it again yes. Probably when it is on sale. It also has a large feeder if the animal is small. I use it for a cat even tho it is called Dogness.
We thought our new Cavoodle pup was going to have separation anxiety when we left her so got one of these. It has been wonderful. As it turned out she wasn't bad at all so it settled my anxiety being able to see her, hear her and speak to her if she was getting a little upset. All it take is hearing our voice after we have left and she settles straight down. Worth every cent.
Recommend this product, I have terrible time for feed Poppy. Because of this product I can schedule whenever from my phone. You also can check your dog from camera and talk to your dog. I have anxiety for leaving Poppy at home, from now I can check whenever I want from my phone.
The top bit is hard to open as I think it has a bit of suction. I always struggle putting treats or food in to open apart from that the camera is amazing. It's so clear. I never had problem with connection. It's always seems to be connected (touch wood). It is a bit big so you need a special place for it it is afterall a food dispenser as well. If you put small kibbles a few comes out. If you put a bigger treat it comes out one only. Lucky it was on special or else it is a bit too expensive.
Puppy has seperation anxiety and this tool allows us to safely monitor her from home. Few things to note which would help : 1. Setup was slightly tricky (do not connect via wifi 5G, connect via 2G) but after that it is smooth sailing. 2. Only one user can access the camera at any one point. If multiple users login, they will be logged out in the other device 3. You can only turn on either one speaker (to hear the puppy or to speak) one at a time Streaming and audio quality was good, and the device itself looks stylish and sturdy unlike other cheaper devices. Bottom part has suction cup for increased stability and comes with super thick cable which I assume is puppy bite proof.
This has to be the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. Every single time you unpower the camera, you have to go through the entire wifi setup again from scratch. Unlike other cameras where you just set them up once, then plug them in again at any point in time and they're good to go instantly. At best, it's worked maybe twice once I've left my house. At worse, my phone app connected to some random strangers camera and I would see some poor lady nearly naked, in just a towel, who knows where, looking after some dog that wasn't mine, in a house that wasn't mine! I spoke to her through the camera to warn her and she thankfully unplugged it. SERIOUSLY CONCERNING LACK OF SECURITY.
Bought this product a month ago to keep an eye on our dogs. Worked well for the first few weeks, but then the speaker to talk through the unit stopped working, its night mode is also pretty bad, with blurred imagery and lens distortion. But the feeding capabilities are great and has a large reservoir that fits enough small biscuits to keep your dog fed for a day until you get home. Still reccomending it even with the issues. The app isn't too bad either and you don't have to pay for it.
