Dolce & Gabbana for Men Light Blue Pour Homme Eau De Toilette 125ml

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue is an amazingly fresh, clean, and floral perfume. It is a classic and timeless perfume. The longevity and spillage are quite nice; it can last from day to night. Light Blue is THE PERFECT scent for summer; a bright clean bright citrus that mellows out with a hint of sweetness. It has top notes of Sicilian lemon, apple, cedar, and bellflower. It’s followed by middle notes of bamboo, jasmine, and white rose. The base notes of cedar, musk, and amber found it all out. I would highly recommend Light Blue to anyone looking to try a new scent out for summer!

I can best compare it to an old best friend that you haven't seen in years. After conversing for a while, and talking about the good times you used to have together you realize that they've changed, the spark of companionship the two of you used to share is no longer there. It comes on with strong juicy sweet and fruity/citrus brightness. Mid notes are mostly lavender, which lends a softness and touch of sophistication with some herbal spiciness from the sage and pepper before the lavender mingles well with tobacco for the basenotes with some woodiness as well. Some people like sillage bombs and in comparison to the original, this UK version is noticeably subdued. But don't mistake that for meaning poor longevit, still has good lasting power 6-7h and still projects for the first 2 hours at an arm length ... just not “as”strongly like the OG.

I got a perfume sampler kit with this in it! It is such a beautifully clean / citrus scent that seriously takes you on a journey. At first I HATED this scent because it smelled like alcohol but as it settled into my skin it took me on a long journey. After the initial smell of alcohol (similar to most perfumes) it smelled like vanilla, then orange, then a sweet floral sent then a beautifully clean crispy somehow warm and floral and just all around gorgeous scent for the summer! I fell in love to say the least. I did not end up choosing this scent because for me personally it is a perfect summer/ spring scent and I was looking for an all- year perfume. When spring comes around, I will happily purchase.

It has notes of Jasmine when it settles along with cedarwood, musk amber. I don't really smell the green apple accord white roses as much, but they do linger in the background. I think this is a light, crisp scent that would be great for Spring or Summer. It lasts for about 2-3 hours on me, so if I want a touch up, I just do one more spritz. I got this as a trial sample direct from DolceandGabbana and Im so pleased to have had my eyes opened to their brand. I want to start my review by actually looking at the box and overall look before we get onto the actual fragrance. As soon as I took the product out of the shipping packaging I was very impressed, the light blue suede box looked very stylish and showed real quality which to me already got me thinking the quality of the aftershave must be high standards to match the box. At this point I would like to say the nozzle to spray has a good coverage and just about the right amount of vapour which only leaves you needing a few sprays to be smelling great. The actual fragrance of the DolceandGabbana light blue is something very unique, they have managed to blend citrus fruit and juniper to create a special fruity but masculine fragrance. They have managed to blend the subtle essence of rosewood and Sichuan pepper to give the Light Blue its musky yet fruity smell which leaves an extremely pleasant odour. First comments I got was from the wife who thought it smelt very beautiful, and then I received comments from work about how nice I smelt. Even I could smell the fragrance and what impressed me more is how long it actually lasted which for me is very impressive as I normally struggle to find a long lasting aftershave. Overall Im very impressed with firstly the quality and style of the DolceandGabbana Light Blue but mostly how beautifully they have made a masculine but summer style aftershave. This is the first product I have used from DolceandGabbana and I would 100 recommend this and look to purchase their products in the future
