The dometic fridge is so quiet. I was expecting to have to turn it off at night but we really can't hear it. The ice maker is an absolute luxury. It does seem to use a fair bit of power but I think I only need it on for an hour or so to create ice. Otherwise it's very good on power usage. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Really good bit of kit used it for a trip recently, from Brisbane to Wagga Wagga and it kept everything really nice and cold like it should with no issues. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection is surprisingly really handy, it's a feature I didn't think I'd use, and I ended up using it heaps.

Dometic CFX3 A2 55IM Is a quality product and having ice maker option is good. Mobile bluet enable app is also good. Suggestion while buying it test in store if the compressor working or not to avoid any issue as one of friend found new product faulty and he had no fridge for his trip
The ice maker is a great addition. I highly recommend this fridge. However, the ice maker does make it fairly pricey.
Since buying the Dometic cfx3 55 litre fridge, I couldn't be more happy with it. It's worth every penny and would highly recommend it, along with buying the Dometic lithium battery pack. The best thing I've done for going away camping and fishing. Great staff at BCF, answered all my questions to the best of their ability, through their own experiences with the equipment so pretty reassuring that they are helping you buy the right equipment for you and what you have got planned
I went from 43l Dometic chilly bin to this. so much more space not having to have ice in the bin for camping.
I had a issue with the fridge when i first opened it. I quick call to tent world, they had Dometic call me next day. I was going away in a couple of days and needed a fridge, Dometic approved a replacement fridge, swapped them over at tent world next day and on my way.Great service from Tent world and Dometic, the ice make in the fridge is unreal! BEing able to control and monitor the fridge from the app is really handy.
After having a Dometic 3 way for 23 years, in comparison this is far inferior. No issues with my old model. This one runs fine on 240 volt & 12 volt when the vehicle is running. It heats up rapidly to higher that ambient temperature when on second battery, compressor starts but stops after approximately 5 second. Second battery, deep cycle still has over 12 volts. Still waiting for it to be repaired, settings to be reset & Dometic aren’t responding to BCF emails. Not impressed.
