I recently bought this jug and faucet and have been very pleased with its function and use. The only thing I'm having a problem with is disconnecting the faucet line from the jug. I don't want to force the removal fearing that I'll damage the line or the connection. I haven't found any information with the packaging or online. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I'd give this product 5 stars if I had a solution to my question.

HiGot this for Christmas with the pump. Love it and it works very well.BUT, my only criticism is the level on the side that says "Maximum Fill".There is no window near this fill line to see how full it is, so I have resorted to measuring how far down the line is with my finger then sticking my finger inside to see if it is full enough. It is difficult to judge the water level looking inside as it is quite dark.Not sure what the solution is except for a small window where the max level mark is maybe so one can fill it to the max Fill Line.

I'm very impressed with the design and quality of this water jug. It's features are well thought out, like the large opening that allows one to reach inside to clean it, and the spigot that can be screwed into the smaller opening. The size is perfect for many uses. This water jug is more expensive that a lot of other water jugs, but the quality and versatility is worth the price for me. I may consider adding the faucet at a later time, but the jug will be very useful as is too. My main purpose for this is to have as a water supply in case of natural disaster, but it will also be great for travel, camping and events too. It looks and feels durable and well made. The straps are also easy to remove and re-attach. I highly recommend this product!

I’ve had this container for a couple months now, so far I’m very happy with it. I live in the north central portion of the US and this time of year it’s unreasonable cold. We use it for camping only and it’s been great, we use to use an old military water jug but the shape and size of this has been much more beneficial. I also appreciate how low profile the top of the container is. When we camp in the cold I always flip it on its top when we aren’t using it. I do this (similarly to canteens in the military) because the water doesn’t freeze at the top where I need it to come out then. It’s worked exceptionally well and if it ever breaks we will definitely be getting another.
Simple in its premise. A 11L jug to carry water. But leave it to Dometic to really think through everything: appreciate the wide opening to clean the inside, the variety of methods to get the water out (Works exceptionally well with the Dometic camp faucet), but also great for just pour water out easily or hooking up another way. Also appreciate it came with a spigot at no extra cost. Highly recommended. Durable, Easy to Carry and Stowable inside or out.
This jug is designed for easy water storage and dispensing. The additional (included) pour spigot is very convenient. It packs in the car upright to conserve space, but tilts easily for dispensing. Also much appreciated are the carrying straps for ease of moving and repositioning. I had water stored in it for several days and it tasted great to the end - no synthetic vinyl taste as happens in so many water storage containers.
We love this water jug. The plastic aired out in a day. (Unlike another water container we bought. It's been 2 years and the other one still smells strongly of plastic). The water in here doesn't pick up any plastic taste and if you get the Dometic GO faucet, you have a great water dispensing station which is easy to carry and pack in the car. You can easily pop off the faucet and store it separately. We've used it to wash hands, dishes, and fill our cups and tumblers. Not one complain from a potentially whiny bunch.

I also remember how many times they broke, dented, lost caps or spouts, tipped over due to size, and so forth. I followed that path till last year and spent my hard earned money on 4 of these water jugs. After using them in Wyoming, Washington, and Oregon, these are the best quality and designed water jugs ever. These will never dent or break unless you back over it with your car or throw it from a bridge! It’s far better to have a jug that is portable and easily handled than a jug that is huge and awkwardly shaped. Great water jug. The large opening is great for filling with no mess. That may seem odd but, I use a filtered pitcher to fill it and most water containers have small openings that , if not carful, makes a mess. The handles are a great way to carry it and they stay out of the way when not in use.I will also be buying the rechargeable faucet that is compatible with this jug.One more thing, this fits in my dometic CFX45 with enough room leftover for food for a few days. What could be better than cold water wherever you may roam!
