I found another model that suited my needs a little better and returned the inverter to the store unused. No issues with the dometic product, although the other model did offer significantly more watts for only a little bit more money.Thanks to BCF for being flexible and allowing me to change my mind.

This is my second I have purchased In two set ups we have. Perfect for drone batteries laptops camera batteries etc very clean power and very efficient. The remote power on but function is very handy so if your inverter is mounted behind a panel like mine you don’t need to get to it to turn it on and off. Recommend

Cheap construction, lousy performance, very noisy.Does the job.....just.Replaced it within a week with a quality unit.Surprised Dometic would put their name, and thus their reputation, on this product.

Does what it says. Used to charge two ebike batteries from a campervan aux battery. No problems. Easy to install.
Great price for a pure sine inverter. It is a good size with enough wattage for a laptops, camera gear etc, but wouldn't use it for anything power hungry as its only 350W. I like the socket on top, which makes plugging in different style adapters easier, and also welcome is the addition of a remote switch. What its missing though is some kind of connection, as it only comes with a cable but no plug. Either Anderson plug and/or clamps would be a nice. Also doesn't include a fuse, which suppose to be rated to 40A.

Great little inverter that worked without fault running my Starlink in my caravan. Not sure if I would run it inside the van as the fan is a little noisy but I have it connected to an Anderson Plug in my outside hatch next to the Starlink inverter and that set up works well. Had to buy the Anderson Plug and connect it as you only get the two bare wires in the pack. They also include a plug in that allow you to connect a further two wires and create a remote switch which I will do so I don't have to go outside late at night and turn off the Starlink which pulls power overnight out of the batteries. Happy to recommend the unit, it does what it says it does
This inverter works well with a variety of appliances. Dont try and exceed the recommended power, otherwise the unit will shut off.
So far so good. Connected it in my work ute to charge laptop and battery’s for tools. Hooked it up to a 100ah battery with a 22L Waeco running off it as well. Doesn’t seem to draw huge amounts. Just a heads up soldering is required the negative and positive terminals have no attachments! If it wasn’t on sale I would have looked around I think, full price of $235 is quite expensive for a 350w unit but at $100 on sale it’s great value and quality. Anacondaaaaaaa
i bought this a couple of weeks ago formy gaming laptop but finding a suitable place to mount it was difficult to decide as it needs air circulation for when it gets hot. The fan is noisy so watching a movie or using the laptop while charging you will need a set of reasonable speakers to turn up the volume (if u use volume). Mounting it in a cupboard and/or a closed box you would need to take into consideration the air volume it needs to stay cool however it would be alot quieter. The inverter switches off automatically at around 11.0 volts DC when connected to AC volts output. The USB outlet does not disconnect automatically therefore it may run your battery(s) flat. Screws come with it however they are not very long and i would advise to pre drill the holes for them just in case they may split either the wood or surface your attaching them to or the mounting feet may crack if you go too fact with a n electric or cordless drill/screwdriver. There is a Manual included and a basic Trouble Shooting Guide at the rear although i found an extra "L" shaped plastic attachment that came with the screws and fixes to a space just above the USB Input which has no mention of its use in the Manual.
