Basic hollow core door. The frame of these doors (inside) are fairly narrow. I mounted a standard passage set that needs a 54mm hole on a 60mm setback. This cuts into the hollow part of the door. I glued in reinforcing pieces of wood approx 50mm x 25mm on the inside of the hole so the base of the lock wouldn't crush down the door when tightened up. Works a treat.

I wrote to Hume and found that you can't trim more than 3mm around the door or you will void the warranty. Stiles and rails are pine. You can see the stile if you look from the top of the door and measure it is about 24mm deep, so I suggest at least a 25mm hinge-long screw when working with this.I had to fill an odd-sized wardrobe and rip these down to 693mm wide, knocked out the stile and reglued it in the frame. Used the table saw to rip off the stile's mdf, and then reglued the stile deeper inside the frame. Added a blind dowel for a bit of extra shear strength. Looking back on this, I should have gone with the 820mm door which would have safely straddled the stile rip.Neatened off using a router with a flush trim bit, following another door clamped to this.

Quality of the door was fine but was disappointed with all the black marks on it. Contrary to what I was told, they did not wipe off with soapy water which made painting it a pain in the butt. I realise they are a cheap alternative door but they should still be pristine if they're new right?

Instructions were clear, easy to install with door install kit. Material is average quality and won’t insulate noise as much. Spray painting it was straight forward with a good finish.
The door had a chip out of the bottom and a dent/scratch up one side. Luckily it was going on a pantry and they were both on the same side so could be mainly hidden. However, the door was ever so slightly warped and bowed along the diagonal. It still fit but is enough that you have to make sure the door is actually closed. We had already waited nearly two weeks to get this, so I didn't bother having to request a refund, then return it and wait for another delivery. All that being said the door itself is good quality for the price. It was easy to carve the hinge recesses in and to drill out the handle holes. I would buy this product again but not until I can get back into the store and select the product myself.
Good quality doors with a very strong primer on the door for protection. I used a good paint primer and 2 coats of water based gloss and the finish was great. Very happy with the product
Inability to personally choose is fraught with danger! The door was warped but only discovered after I'd laboriously painted it and fitted it - too late to return it! Not very happy so won't be doing any more click and collect. I need to SEE what I'm buying. Otherwise a very happy Bunnings customer under normal circumstances.
This Hume door is very poor quality. Yes its $37- however should 10 drops of water swell and ruin the "primed" surface - well it did. Boring the the 25mm striker hole caused the skin to immediately fracture and separate. Absolute rubbish.
I purchased 2 of these recently for a paid Reno job I’m currently doing. Both doors started to swell and blister at the bottom after merely 2 days stood vertically on a dry tiled floor inside, awaiting paint and fitment. I also found that all edges of these doors were almost as soft as cardboard and subsequently ‘bruised’ with little more than looking at them! Are these possibly an ultra cheap line of doors made by Hume solely for Bunnings? Either way, I know I’ll only be using Corinthian in future.
I was disappoint with the product I received, as I had ordered this on line, and did not pick it up from the store, I found out by the chippy friend who helped me install the new internal door, that it was warped! I was lucky that the door could be adjusted to fit the door frame without any major problem. Why didn't I return it well it was due to the availability of my chippy mate, and time frame he had to do the job! I just wish that who orders these doors, makes a effort to check the products for defects, but I don't think this will be done, as I was informed by my friend when he does purchase doors form Bunnings in the past he has come across this problem a few times!
