Visually this is very appealing, with dried whole cherries and miniature scrolls of dark chocolate. It's not too strong in flavour and definitely not too sweet. Aswell as a decadent breakfast cereal, it makes a great snack / dessert with some rich and creamy Greek yoghurt.

This granola used to be lovely and I used to love it so much. I bought it after a few months and it tastes like bits of wood and sawdust now. I was incredulous and checked the packing date, checked my bowl to see if some strange foreign substance had invaded my cereal bowl. Nopes, it was all this disastrous "new" product. Such a crying shame.

Dorset Cereals have decided to change their ingredient ratios in this granola, clearly to save costs and to its detriment. Less nuts and honey and more oats. Tastes different and leaves a nasty after taste. Such a shame as this was my favourite granola but I won't be buying it any more.

This is the best cereal for both taste and texture. I don’t usually like honey but this was very subtle and nicely flavoured the granula. Some granula products are very dry but this was nice to taste and easy to swallow.
We have been buying this granola every week for years and would have said it was easily the best on the market. Sadly this weekend it tasted mostly of oats and dust - and checking the old packet we noticed the recipe has changed from 35% nuts and seeds to 24%!! The whole family agreed it tasted horrible and we will not be buying again. PLEASE PLEASE bring the old recipe back. We don’t need the discounts and a cheap product to match. We loved it the way it was and are happy to pay what it costs to make a quality product.
After being diagnosed coeliac, meaning no more gluten, I had very few regrets about food I could no longer eat. At the top of that shortlist though, is Dorset Cereals Honey Granola. Of all the Granolas, this one . . . this one delivers amazing crunch, crisp and succulent sweet flavour. This was so beloved, by self and others, that whilst living outside the UK I used to fill a suitcase with this on every trip back, otherwise known as Honey Granola runs. Try it at least once!
Maybe I had a bad batch. This now seems to contain more seeds than nuts, the oats are rather loose and not clustered together like I seemed to recall, and it is also rather soft and not particularly crunchy. I am ok with the sweetness and the flavor of the seeds, but I wish there were fewer. On top of that, there also seemed to be a piece of fruit in my packet - presumably from one of the other products produced in the same area?
I really enjoyed this granola however I think it would be better without the added golden syrup, although I tend to prefer less sweet breakfast. I have it with an unsweetened yoghurt to keep it balanced.
Have purchased and used this in the past together with there other products. It was sent as a substitute which I accepted. I was dismayed when I opened it. Just full of very small ground up cereals and nuts.
I noticed the packaging had change but didnt expect the product to change. Im glad its not just me who dislikes this granola now. It was delicious and preferable to my homemade. However after tasting this altered formula I have decided to remake my own.
