Marc Jacobs will launch a new fragrance this spring, his name is Marc Jacobs Dot. The new fragrance continues the cheerful play of petals decorated with modern and characteristic flacons of the Jacobs collection. Polka dots embellish the red petals and a ball on the cap, which looks like a ladybug in the heart of a flower. The fragrance was introduced in March 2012 and will be available in 30, 50 and 100ml EDP Flacons, along with scented body care products. The composition has been announced as floral-fruity, surrounded by exotic notes of coconut and wrapped in a soft embrace of vanilla. The top notes of the new DOT fragrance incorporate red berries combined with pitaya fruit, also known as dragon fruit. The juicy and exciting opening is followed by a floral trio of honeysuckle, jasmine and orange blossom, while a base closes with a trail of coconut water, vanilla, driftwood and sensual musk. The flacon is made of red glass and decorated with flowers and a golden plate inscribed with the name of the fragrance and the Dot brand. It was created by Annie Buzantian and Ann Gottlieb.
