A few years ago I noticed that using fragrance on my nether regions created issues for me, so I switched to this bar. My grandmother always used the pink bar with moisturizing cream, but I was advised to specifically use something without scent, so I chose this. It's fantastic. It's still a soap, but it isn't overly drying. I actually like to use it all over my body now, largely out of convenience's sake. I have noticed in the past that bugs seem to like the way I smell, and I think avoiding it during those times is helpful. What else? It's always available in a multi-pack and I purchase it since it regularly goes on sale, which makes it an economic choice. It even works as a facial cleanser when a regular one isn't available. And finally, its minimal packaging (simply a box to recycle and a slim piece of plastic film to dispose) means it's a more environmentally-friendly option. Win-win!

The soaps of the brand where they are part of a line that very much respects the Ph of the skin of our body. The soaps where even if used daily leave the skin soft, perfumed and velvety. Lately new fragrances have come out on the Italian market, as a good curiosity I have slowly tried them all. There is the classic one, the cucumber one, the one with scrub granules while we wash our hands and face. The line of soaps where it is very, very vast and satisfies everyone's tastes a little. I personally have been using them for a long time and I find them really of great quality and also the value for money is very affordable. Easy to find in all shops, I recommend them to everyone.

It can exfoliate without dehydrating and it can rehydrate without overpowering your skins natural oils.

I’ve been using unscented Dove soap for years and decided to try this out for a new scent. As for pros, this soap is very hydrating and good for moisturizing skin. It’s a very creamy and light soap that feels great on the skin. The scent is also not too overpowering and has slight hints of cucumber. I have incredibly sensitive, dry skin and eczema, so I would recommend this to other people with similar issues! One of the main issues I have with this soap is how quickly I go through them and I haven’t had this issue with unscented Dove soaps thus far. Overall, this soap is worth it for it’s affordable price and I would recommend it if you can buy multiples of it at local retailers!

Amazed!

I have spent so much money on cleansers & moisturizer over the years. My husband & have loved Dove body wash for years & I never considered cleaning my rosacea face with a bar of soap, but this one is wonderful. It even removes my Lancôme Teint Idole foundation with ease. I can’t believe something so simple & inexpensive could work so well! And it was my husband who suggested maybe I should try something simple like Dove soap! Before body wash came out, dove bar soap is all he used. I can attest that this sensitive skin bar is definitely ok for super sensitive skin. I’m also prone to dryness & this doesn’t cause any. I’m soooo amazed! Have used over a week now twice a day & my face is much less red. Very pleased!

Sensitive fragrance free bar is NOW FRAGRANCED

I have used this sensitive bar for over 15 years due to allergies to fragrance- this week I purchased a 4 pack only to find that Dove is still promoting this as a fragrance free product when in fact the smell is so strong, the entire cabinet under my vanity smells like this soap. That my friends is NOT fragrance free. I cant imaging what genious thought that it would be wonderful to scent the fragrance free bar and still advertise is as fragrance free. Dove has lost a long time customer which also probably means nothing to a companhy that would make a switch like that and not change the packaging. I had to throw the soap out . That is what Unilever thinks of its long time consumers. They dont.

Something has changed

I have used this sensitive skin bar soap since they started making it. The last few months the bars seems to have no slip and sticky in the skin. The bar out of the box feels that way as well. I called customer service to inquire and as soon as it was time to collect my information to reimburse me the rep not answering me when I say hello hello. Act like she can’t hear me. Shady. She says something about temperature but I’m thinking it’s more likely something has gone wonky with the ingredients. How can it be temperature when I have bought it this way at different stores for the past few months????? It was never this way until the last few months.

The older I get, the drier & more sensitive my skin gets. I've become a convert to Dove products: body wash, lotion, deodorant & now, sensitive beauty bar. This is a great bar to use alone for the face or as a second step in a double cleanse. I also use it to wash my severely dry hands! Fabulous product- no dryness, tightness or itchiness! Thanks, Dove. Also, please remove any added fragrance. I just started using this particular beauty bar & see many customers complaining of recent fragrance additions. WE SENSITIVE FOLKS DO NOT WANT OR NEED FRAGRANCE!
