I’ve always never cared about the type of scent that I would use as a body scrub because the smell would never get stuck on my body like how I wanted to anyways. And even if it did it wasn’t an eye catcher smell to begin with. So i started noticing that my grandma would change the body wash scents in the bathroom but once again, I was “meh” about them. Never really had a “Wow” moment until one day there was a new body wash scent. And it was Cucumber! Now i had gotten a recommendation from my friend of the cucumber wipes before and I wasn’t that impressed even though they were good. So when I saw the new scent i wasn’t expecting it to be good. But instead it actually was good and became one of my favorite body scents ever. Dove lathers up with only a little wash on my loofah and is incredibly soft on the skin. For the comment saying it doesn't have a pleasant smell. I don't notice any scent at all. So if you want something scented/smell great this probably isn't for you. It's more so to help DEEPLY moisturize dry skin and for sensitive skin types. After using Dove Deep Moisture I was very pleased with the outcome. It took my dull flakey skin and washed it all away leaving bright, silky, smooth and clean skin that felt as if I had been moisturizing with lotion daily. I absolutely love this Body Wash and have never felt so clean and soft. I highly recommend this product and am sure that you will like it as well.

And while those body washes smelled nice and made me feel all pretty in the shower, they didn’t make me feel pretty when I got out. I wasn’t giving my skin what it needed, and my dry skin got worse and became coupled with body acne (which is never fun). Then I talked to my dermatologist and he actually recommended I switch to Dove. I’ve never used another body wash since... My skin has looked amazing for the past couple years now and the dryness has significantly decreased. I appreciate that I can buy the value version of this with a pump (lower cost-per-ounce) and we only need one body wash to take up space in the shower. This is a body “wash” and not technically soap, so it does not strip the skin and is very hydrating. It produces a rich, thick and foamy lather on a loofah or bath sponge so a little goes a long way. It doesn’t irritate my more ~sensitive~ areas. More than pleasantly surprised!

I chose a few different Dove body wash products at the same time. One of which was this Dove Refreshing Cucumber and Green Tea Body wash. To be completely honest, I expected to like this one the least. However, what ended up happening was the complete opposite. I ended up not only liking, but LOVING this one, the BEST out of all of them! The scent/smell is absolutely amazing! I am a person that is very particular & maybe slightly picky about scents and I also have a very sensitive nose. So when I say I love the scent, that's a big deal to me. Not only that, this body wash makes my skin feel clean without making it feel "stripped" or depleted of its moisture. It leaves my naturally dry skin feeling hydrated and nourished. Another thing I'm particular about is how/the kind of/the amount of lather/suds/foaming that my personal care products produce. With this body wash, a little goes a long way!!!!!! You only need a small amount of body wash to produce a lot of bubbly lather. The first time I used it, I squeezed out the amount that I'm used to using with a different brand/kind of body wash. And that was a big mistake. With this kind, I didn't need nearly the same amount. Quite possibly didn't even need to use half the amount that I needed to use with the other brand. So you absolutely get a bang for your buck, it smells great, will last a while and its super enjoyable to use.

New Formula is No Bueno

You guys, I’m so sad you changed the formula! The old formula Cucumber & Green Tea with the regular print font was soooo good for my skin and it always left my skin so soft! But unfortunately the ingredients in the new Cucumber & Green Tea formula left my skin sooooo dry all over my body, like the kind of painful uncomfortable kind of dry, my skin hurts and caused acne breakouts all over. My hands are painfully dry and peeling! In the past, I tried this new formula and it made most of my body skin peel so then I went back to using the older formula and it healed my skin. This has never happened before until using the new formula. Im going to have to say goodbye to Dove body washes since the creamier formulas caused acne on my chest and shoulders in the past. This body wash smells amazing. It leaves my skin so soft and hydrated, and extremely moisturized. This Dove body wash really leaves your skin feeling fully hydrated, soft and smooth for 24 hours till your next morning shower. My skin looks and feels so much healthier since I have been using this body wash. It also has a wonderful lather, it lathers up fast and lots too, a litter body wash goes a long way with dove, it is very thick and creamy. The best part it has plant base moisturizers in it too.
