I particularly liked the Soothing Moisture Dove Derma Care over the others because my scalp really calmed down from irritation and my dandruff disappeared after using them together three times. No flakes and shiny hydrated hair! The shampoo feels thicker and richer than typical shampoos. When I first started applying it I thought it was the conditioner.But after massaging it and adding more water it does suds up nicely. Although the ingredients aren’t all natural they are ph balanced and wont irritate your scalp. They have sweet almond oil which is not only hydrating it has vitamin B and E to promote hair growth and repair follicles. The only active ingredient is in the shampoo with 1% Pyrithione Zinc. It has antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial which helps to heal dandruff, psoriasis, and acne. Also a very important benefit is that it actually inhibits the growth of yeast which is what cases dandruff. The added aloe and coconut oil soothe repairs dead skin cells on the scalp and prevents hair breakage and split ends. The smell is very nice and light with a little hint of coconut and flowers. The packaging works great for in shower use. The shampoo opens at the top and conditioner at the bottom so you can’t mix them up. The bottles have the best design for opening them easily. There’s a big enough ridge to pop the top open even with wet hands. I use both shampoo and conditioner three times a week on my fine, dry, damaged hair. It has completely gotten rid of my dandruff and added a beautiful shine. I will be getting more of these especially during the winter months.

If your main concern is dandruff and you need immediate results you may need to look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a long-term solution which will have a positive effect on your hair then I would recommend trying this shampoo

My second favorite dandruff conditioner! I use a small amount after the matching shampoo just focusing on the scalp and leave it on for about 5 minutes. It helps moisturize my dry sensitive scalp and the scent is like nice lavender. It makes my hair feel really soft and clean. I have purchased this shampoo and conditioner set several times.

Another winner from Dove. It complements the shampoo perfectly, leaving my hair feeling nourished and soft while also combating dandruff. It does weigh down my hair so I need to dose carefully. Highly recommend pairing it with dove shampoo.

Makes my hair smooth

I have curly hair and love this product. I bought it along with Dove's anti-dandruff shampoo. I don't normally have dandruff, but I use a lot of oil in my hair. This product has helped remove the excess oil and keeps my scalp feeling fresh.

Not for people who get oily hair easily, but it DEFINITELY HELPS my scalp! I have had flakes of (dandruff or psoriasis... not sure which) sine 6th grade-- and I'm in college now. This stuff is the only conditioner that actually helps keep the flakes away! I've used this product at least 4 or 5 times before writing this, because I learned the hard way that the first wash using some products may get rid of flakes, but the true colors show when the flakes come back with a vengeance. THIS PRODUCT WORKS, but apply not-so-generously at the scalp. I use Suave Scalp Control shampoo

So I was like all these high reviews have to be paid right? Wrong. This is a holy grail conditioner. This makes my lightweight hair smooth, soft, mild dandruff barely noticeable after two weeks and no tangles in brush. I leave this on for 5 minutes so the medication conditioner can really soak into the strands. I feel if you rinse the conditioner out right away there is no time for the medicated conditioner to do it’s job. I’ve mild conditioner so I don’t use the matching shampoo, but I use another Dove shampoo which is the Argan Oil and repair. If you’ve mild dandruff you should get away with using mild dandruff. I wish I knew how this works on other hair types but I don’t. But for fine hair people. This also doesn’t weigh down my hair either. good product for anti dandruff

It is good product for killing dandruff in our hair. Also it provides hair development. My son like it a lot and he buys always from iHerb. It is reasonable price. I will buy again for him.
