Dove Intense Repair Shampoo for Damaged Hair - 1 L

Seller tape the bottle opening to prevent leakage. Since Expiry date is printed below cap bottle, the print also came off when I removed the masking tape with heavy glue. Oredi it's fine print on expiry date. Now it's become Blur print. Haiz! Hv purchase from Watsons online before & they nvr hv to tape the bottle also & no leakage too. Seller pls be mindful when taping btl capped opening & not to remove the Expiry date printed by manufacturer. It also create a sticky feel to the shampoo btl. When buyer remove the tape, the Expiry date will also came off coz its stick to the tape together.

Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo - trial team review

Thank you very much to Dove and Beauty heaven letting me try the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo.I now have natural, uncoloured and untreated hair, although it is dry and at times frizzy. The shampoo comes in a 320mL bottle and the product is dispensed from the top of the bottle.I found that Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo is very creamy, and lathers really well. A little goes a very long way. With other shampoos, I often need to double cleanse but it is not necessary with Dove. I find that it does a very good job. When used in conjunction with both the conditioner and the treatment serum, I do find that my hair rests slightly on the heavier side and the scalp can get a little oily quickly. More frequent washes seems to be necessary. That said, I have enjoyed using Dove Intensive Repair line of products. It works from mid-length onwards, just a little heavy on the scalp.

Gentle and effective

I had some mixed feelings when I received this shampoo. With curly hair, I rarely use shampoo, since it is usually drying and unnecessary. I was pleasantly surprised when I did try it that my hair didn't feel dry after the shampoo was rinsed out!The bottle is plastic, which is a bit of a shame. It would be great to be moving towards more environmentally friendly alternatives, but the bottle itself is sturdy and the lid stays on until you want to open it. It's fairly well sized and would last me a long time, given I only use shampoo when needed, and not every wash. The product is pretty thick and has a light scent, nothing offensive or strong. My hair felt pretty good, though definitely still in need of a conditioner. All in all, a decent product, though not one I'd run out and buy, to replace what I already have.

Reliable, affordable shampoo

The shampoo is lightly scented with the 'Dove' fragrance, nothing too overpowering, leaves a gentle scent afterwards which is nice. Growing up with the Dove moisturising/soap bar, it's been ingrained in me that the products are gentle and reliable, and though I've only used their skincare range to date, I was open to using a haircare product for these very reasons. Overall, my hair felt clean and did a really good job of removing days worth of dry shampoo. I always rinse and repeat so there is good lather with the foam. I did notice a slight frizz reduction in my hair straight after washing (usually I need to wait for the second day for the hair to have settled) and I don't need to wash my hair again too soon after as I try to only do 2 or 3 washes a week so I don't ... MoreThe shampoo is lightly scented with the 'Dove' fragrance, nothing too overpowering, leaves a gentle scent afterwards which is nice. Importantly, I did follow up with the paired conditioner and that really helped with the results. I found less hair breakage/fall out, not sure if that was intended but it was definitely noticeable in my case. The bottle is simple as you would expect with Dove products, the quality speaks for itself. It does the job that more expensive shampoos also do so this is a real bargain and one that I'll likely pick up again.

See and feel the difference

Dove is a brand that I love and trust. The Dove Intensive Repair shampoo is designed for damaged hair .It comes in a great 320gm size. The shape of the bottle makes it easy to hold and pour. The labelling is simple, clear and easy to recognise with the renowned Dove logo. The shampoo itself has a lovely fresh clean smelling scent. My hair is naturally quite dry due to it being long and always being coloured with blonde foils. I swim a lot and I feel that the pool water only exacerbates the condition of my hair.I used Dove Intensive Repair shampoo every second day (in conjunction with the Intensive Repair conditioner and Intensive Repair 3-in-1 serum).I love the way the shampoo lathers. It just felt more moisturised and nourished. After continued use, washing every second night, the results only became better. My hair was less dry and more shinier which was amazing!I didn’t experience any reactions with using this shampoo.I would recommend Dove Intensive Repair shampoo for those wanting results for their damaged hair from not only Day 1 but for the future as well. This shampoo does everything! It repairs, nourishes and protects…which is why I love it!

Treat yourself try a the higher quality for once!

Really one of the best quality shampoos and conditioners currently on market I feel without spending an arm and a leg. It is a bit pricier than the lower line of shampoos/conditioners but not by much. This set really smells phenomenal, remaining in your hair awhile after you wash. I went out on a limb to try it and I haven’t regretted it since! I feel the Dove body wash is overpriced (I think any body wash really is. I just use shampoo, lol) but this shampoo makes a nice body wash as well! I know it is NOT the intention of Dove or any company to use shampoo as body wash. If you have sensitive, irritating skin please do not attempt. Albeit, this quality of shampoo really does make for a nice body wash! If you have sensitive, irritating skin please do not attempt. Albeit, this quality of shampoo really does make for a nice body wash! It does not leave your hair “streaky” or “squeaky” like other shampoos, body included! No weird soap coating on the tub walls or slimy dry residue on your hair/body. Being paraban free, cruelty free for animals and Dove not associating with those who do test products on animals is a triple win. *Thanks Dove! The Dove conditioner is really phenomenal; for me it really does feel like it is nurturing %26 coating my hair for protection. It actually stays in awhile after applying it, not washing out as soon as you wet your hair. I would say it’s a good middle to slightly higher on the spectrum of coating your hair, staying in once applied, but not being super heavy, greasy. I would say it could still be used as a “treatment” if you wanted to do a conditioner treatment day. However, if you do a conditioner treatment day, again, I would say it’s more of a middle based conditioner treatment. Please note, if you have very thin hair that is sensitive to the weight of conditioners then perhaps you won’t need a conditioner treatment day; you will may not need much conditioner either. This stuff does a great job, less is more with this product!

Wonderful, exceeded my expectations

After years of using garnier I decided it was time to switch shampoos. Before starting this my hair was always dry, frizzy, with the ends breaking off as well. After using this about 2 washes my hair has never been smoother, it’s so soft, shiny and healthy feeling now. I absolutely love this shampoo and never thought my hair was capable of being this soft in my life.I’ve always struggled with my hair growth, so I’m hoping I will see faster growth as well. I will update on that if I notice a change. 10/10 would recommend. I love it!

Works WONDERS %26 smells AMAZING

My hair was really fried and damaged after being mislead at a beauty supply store. For a couple years I tried EVERYTHING to get it somewhat healthy again. Even after getting the fried ends cut off little by little, my hair was still not what it used to be. It was extremely thin and dry. So I’d gotten hair masks done at salons, tried super expensive shampoo and conditioner, tried all kinds of different products but nothing worked. A few years ago I had 3 failed back surgeries in less than a year and had unfortunately become homeless because I was unable to work. Well I’d gone to a friends one day and took a shower and used this Dove Intensive Repair shampoo and conditioner. I INSTANTLY saw and felt a HUGE difference. I’ve now been using the same Dove Intensive Repair for the past 4 years, and my hair looks and feels healthy again. I actually just had one of my friends use my shampoo and conditioner, and she has made the switch too. I saw more results with using a $5-6 shampoo (with just one use) than I did when I was using $20 products. And the smell is AMAZING and lasts in your hair for LONG time!
