Dove Men+Care Body Soap And Face Bar More Moisturizing Than Bar Soap D

Dove soap is seriously the best body soap there is! It truly leaves you moisturized so much more than any other soap. I'm personally really into colognes and fragrances. Being moisturized makes a big difference on longevity and projection. Ive noticed since switching to dove that my cologne lasts longer and has better performance!

Having sensitive skin can greatly affect the limitations of body wash/shampoo that you can use and are often scent less/bland, however this one in particular can fit right in and give that burst of freshness and that great feeling of something new that works well! It’s cost effective and gets the job done all while giving off a light CLEAN scent! I would definitely recommend this Dove product for all!

Fragrance has changed

So sad that the scent changed on these bars. We compared a bar from the last pack to one from the new pack and it is like 2 different products with the new bar smelling like a cheap green apple/chemical smell. It’s cloyingly sweet and overwhelmingly strong. We are likely going to donate the remaining bars to a shelter and look for something that smells better. This used to have a very pleasant masculine type of fresh scent.

Ingredients all changed

It's gone from 16 simpler ingredients to 22 and it doesn't moisturize any where near as well as it used to. Why the major formula change from what it's been for years without honestly disclosing it on the bottles? Companies advertise "new formula!" all the time. This was my favorite body wash- zero dry skin quality clean scents. Now my skin is dry again and I would have never known why had I not had an older bottle on hand to check.

Micro Beads for deep cleaning!

I absolutely Love DOVE CARE MEN'S BAR SOAP DEEP CLEAN!!! This bar soap has these little micro beads in it and it helps to scrub away dead skin and it helps to remove dirt that is harder to get off of your skin such as dirt and grease mixed and those micro beads help to cut through it but when using the bar of soap against your skin it does have a slight scraping because of the microbeads but you would have to be like a baby if you could not take the scrubbing. It is like having some sand on the soap but not too much and it naturally is all throughout the bar of soap! This soap is not actually intended to cut through engine grease on the hands but you can use this soap against your body without a washcloth and I actually prefer it that way because it scrapes slightly into the skin to remove old dead skin and naturally dirt! I highly recommend this soap but like I said if you can't stand the little scraping on your body then maybe this soap isn't for you but if you are using a washcloth then you really don't feel the scraping like using the bar against your skin without using a washcloth.

Slippery and Stinky

This not-soap leaves me feeling slippery. It's kind of ridiculous because the entire point of showering is to come out feeling clean. I have to rinse (and rinse, and rinse) to get the slimy residue off of my skin. I'm not sure if that's the moisturizer or what, but whatever it is, it's not a pleasant experience.The smell strongly reminiscent of Old Spice. I don't necessary hate the smell, but it is remarkably strong. I'm also 35, so smelling like a 55 year old man isn't very high on my priorities list.Finally, the ancient grains that are in the bar... they're pretty useless. The best bar soap ever. Highly recommend it.

This is the best bar soap that I have ever used. It cleans as well as one might expect, it has a light scent, and doesn’t dry out my skin. The price remains fair, despite the pandemic, supply, chain issues, and inflation. At times this soap is difficult to find.
