Dove Men+Care Body Wash and Face Wash Clean Comfort 30 oz

I have used the Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body and Face wash 4 times since receiving it. I like the scent of the product a lot. It has a fresh, shower clean smell to it that smells great after a shower post workout. As a facial cleaner. the product is semi adequate at best. It feels cool going on, but I do not feel like it is giving a deep cleanse to my face. There is very little lather and you really have to use a lot to feel like it's doing anything worthwhile. Also, post face wash, it left my skin feeling very dry. As a shower wash, it totally misses the mark. You need a lot of product to work up the littlest in lather. Even when using the double sided shower tool, I did not feel the product was adequately cleaning my body. It also left a heavy residue feeling on my body in which I had to rinse under the shower two additional times and use the dual sided tool without the product to scrub only using water. Later after the shower, my skin felt very dry the way my face did. I honestly would not use this product in the future unless a change in formula was made.

Dove Men's care is my favorite

Dove Men+Care is the perfect face and body wash in my opinion. It has a good scent. It does better than other similar products in cleaning my face and body from body oils ,dirt & grime of everyday work. It doesn't dry my skin like some other products I have used. It is also concentrated so a large amount of product doesn't have to be used. It also helps to prevent body odor better than other products.

I love this body wash! The large package has a lot of product for a great price - excellent value! I like the pump for this bottle making dispensing very easy. The scent is indeed clean and comfortable. This makes for an enjoyable showering experience. This has a great, quality lather.

Great Men Body products

Although I have not personally tried the men + care products, you can't go wrong when it comes to Dove brand! I do purchase them for my fiance and he been using the body wash for at least 2 years. Once and awhile I will switch it up and get a different type or fragrance of the men + care body washes, but this one seems to be his 'go to'He says that using this body wash and applying the Check Meowt Cosmetics brand cocoa butter lotion or body butter is the perfect combination for his dry skin. He says those 2 products would be his first 2 choices to have with him stranded on a deserted island. You'd think food n water would be 1st, that's how dedicated he is to this body wash ....... that's a man for ya hahahahaha

New Formula

I used to absolutely love this body wash with the previous formula and scent! That scent was my favorite of any of the others out there and the wash really helped with my dry skin. I've consistently purchased this product since around 2014-2015 and the formula hasn't changed during that time up until recently (to my knowledge).As far as the new formula - I don't mind it for cleanliness - it's ok, but nothing impressive.Definitely not at all a fan of the new scent however. Smells more like just plain soap.

New Formula

Why? Why would you change the "Mild Formula" scent to this new one? That's what I liked about it, it was mild and not overpowering, were you getting complaints? I got nothing but compliments on how I smelled. I have two bottles left of the "Mild Formula", guess I'll have to use sparingly until I find a new scent and possibly different brand! They even changed the deodorant scent. Very disappointed.

New Formula Debacle

The new formula is slightly thicker than the original formula, but it smells very different and the smell is unpleasant. I used the original formula for years because of its quality - even going out of my way to visit stores that sold it the area. I purchased the new formula not knowing it had changed. Wasted my money and will find another non-Dove product to use.

New formula a real disappointment

I used this for many years and loved it but the new formulation is just awful. The scent, which used to match the Clean Comfort deodorant well, now smells very different and chemical-like, almost like plastic. It also feels different doesn’t seem to lather as well. Why did you make this product so much worse, it was a huge mistake.

Ok, but the smell is awful

This the preferred body wash of my teenage son. It’s a decent price & doesn’t make him break out, so I buy it. If it’s not broke, right? But OH MY GOODNESS, the scent! It’s TERRIBLE. Stomach churning, nauseating, overwhelmingly lingering, offensive scent. I’m extremely sensitive to scents, so maybe this is all me.

Turned a differentiating product into generic one

I've used the previous version of the product for years, and it was the only one that worked for me -- especially in the colder months, when my eczema flares up.The new formula just does not work. It's like any generic body wash out there. This used to be your differentiating product: for people with dry, allergic skin, in particular, this one was among the very few (if any) products that worked.If you want to change packaging to keep it fresh -- sure; but don't change the formula because of some commercial motives when you have loyal customers who depend on it. Bring the previous formula back.
