Impressed and relieved at the same time. Being a foaming wash, I expected it to dissipate rather quickly as foaming handwash tends to do. This actually delivered a lather very close to that of its bar soap counterpart. The bottle claims over 250 pumps and the initial wash I used about 4-6 pumps which translates to around 2 months. I can live with that. The clean left a light feeling and residue free with a creamy type of vetiver scent. An herbal green that works well for morning and night. The bottle claims it moisturizes as well but it is only very lightly. I would like for that aspect to be improved and be more in line with the in shower lotions. All in all, I like the product a lot so far upon initial testing.

The concept of the product is a really great idea. It's just the execution of a couple of things that need to be worked on. The smell of the product is really great. The ability to just pump body wash foam into your hand and go is also a great thing. The issue I had is the hardiness or density of the foam. The bottle points out that there is around 250 pumps per bottle, well you're going to need them because it'll take about 8 pumps to do the top of your body. Just that little tweak would really improve the product. Depending on the price point I would recommend this product for a guy that doesn't want to mess with a wash cloth or loofah. It's also great for quick showers as well.

I tested the Extra Fresh variant of Dove Men+Care, thanks to a complimentary sample provided by Influenster for review purposes. I found it quite refreshing and easy to the skin during the shower; it's okay to use it with your normal soap or alone. While being used alone, I'd like a little more thick foam to work a better lather (thus also making the product more concentrate), however the foam it produces, something between a liquid soap and a shaving foam, it's quite allright. To all the previous attributes mentioned before, I need to add durability. Thirty days, some thirty-five to forty uses, an average of four pumps per use... and the bottle STILL HAVE FOAM TO GO! I estimate about 20 percent still remains, which makes Dove Men+Care shower body foam far more durable than your average soap bar, and far more fresh.

Luckily I got this product from influenster (complimentary to test for free) on a day when I was going out to meet friends but also just ran out of shower jell! So I ripped open the packaging and took this to the shower and uses it right away. First if all, the smell is awesome! It has a nice fresh sent that's not over powering but still lingers after you finish your shower. I got complimented on it as I was out. Also! The foam action is a cool feature. With jell I always end up squeezing to much out and wasting So much, but with the foam I got the exact right amount so this will definitely last a decent amount of time. I absolutely LOVE this body wash!! It smells amazing yet doesn’t interfere with my fragrance, and leaves me totally clean without stripping my skin of it’s moisture.This item can be used with or without a shower puff. Since it pumps out as a foam I didn’t feel the need to use a puff, but I would when I wanted the exfoliating benefits that using one provides. I would highly recommend this product to friends, family, and strangers!!EXPERT TIP: Try using this product on your underarms BEFORE getting them, so the product goes on “full strength” and isn’t diluted by water. This helped me cut through the longer lasting (and next to impossible to wash off) formulas many antiperspirants have converted over to.

I'm disappointed with this product. First, what's with all toiletry products geared towards men smelling like generic old man scents? Something new please, I'm tired of smelling like my dad. Second, the instructions say to use your hand to wash. I can see why they say this since it's pretty much a self-lathering foam, but it's quite ineffective to feeling clean. Third, the product isnot for men with sensitive skin or who live in areas with very hard damaging water. I was left with extremely dry skin. I'm sorry to say unless the first and third problems are addressed I will not buy this product or recommend to anyone.

I know that sounds strange as all body wash should make you feel clean but there is something different about the foaming and how one coat removes all dirt and body odor and seems to leave the scent behind that even after you dry off leaves you smelling good. With other products they can smell great but I would often need to use multiple coats or the smell would be mostly gone once I dry off. I don't wear cologne and have heard many remarks such as "What are you wearing?," "whats different with you?" and "you smell good" by people hours after I shower.
