Dove Nutritive Solutions Shampoo, Intensive Repair - 12 fl oz

I received these products complimentary.* So I just tried the Dove Amplified Textures Shampoo. I figured I was at the beach earlier and why not use these new products... SO! #1) packaging is cute, I like that it has a pump. But when I pump this product into my hair, #2) the shampoo has an odd consistency. IT FEELS LIKE GEL in my hands, which is BIZARRE when you're used to regular shampoo. Now with that said, it lathers nicely and doesn't strip my hair. For my girls who are team natural: this product is SLS free, so it's not going to strip your hair.... Which is great! However. the reason for 3 stars is because if you use the whole system (shampoo. conditioner, leave in), Im not sure whether it would completely remove the dimethicone thats in the conditioner and ... MoreI received these products complimentary.* So I just tried the Dove Amplified Textures Shampoo. However. the reason for 3 stars is because if you use the whole system (shampoo. conditioner, leave in), Im not sure whether it would completely remove the dimethicone thats in the conditioner and leave in (the jury is still out on those). overall its a nice shampoo and I'll give it another try. I would give it a shot if not having sulfates in your shampoo is a must, you don't mind products with a weird consistency, and you don't use heavy products with silicones, heavy oils, or butters (shea butter, etc).

But does it work on Curly Hair?

I love the pump, it makes it so easy to use and makes its more accessible as it can be used with one hand.The shampoo lathered up really nicely and I enjoyed the creamy texture of the product. Although I wouldn’t recommend using only the shampoo if you’re going to use this product you need to use them together. If you only use the shampoo the result is quite dry feeling hair.If you use them how they are intended (together). Good for Processed Hair

I normally use a high end shampoo so I was very sceptical about this product. However I am pleasantly surprised after using the shampoo for a couple of weeks.The bottles are amazing size and the smell is quite lovely and lasts on your hair for ages.The pump is really good and it’s easy to control how much product you put on your hair.My hair is heavily processed and dyed blonde, therefore very dry and prone to being frizzy.I found the shampoo very nice to use however regular use was leaving my hair feeling a little heavy and almost a little oily. The 820ml bottle of shampoo is more than a substantial size which was very impressive. The pump bottle action is ever so easy to disperse which allows for the desired amount without waste. I’ve trailed the Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo for over a week now, its aimed to give hair extra nourishing care all whilst being gentle and cleansing. It’s formulated specially for damaged hair and also claims to prevent 98% of daily hair damage. I have long, thick, wavy hair. I’m currently gone back to my natural dark colour from ashy blonde so you can imagine how damage and fried my hair would be. Upon first use, I noticed the smell. It smells absolutely beautiful, almost heavenly. It’s not overwhelming, just very subtle. I’m a big fan of pump bottles in the shower so I was especially excited to try this shampoo on my dry, damaged and lackluster hair. It’s so quick and easy to dispense the product which is especially appreciated if I’m short on time. The size of the bottle is huge too so it’s great value for money.The scent is so lovely! The only con would be that it isn’t free of “nasties” like sulphates, so if avoiding such ingredients this won’t be an option, which is a shame. If ingredients aren’t a concern then I highly recommend giving this shampoo a go for quick and effective results!

I was super impressed with Dove Shampoo. It has an easy to use pump action that gave the correct amount of shampoo for my medium length hair. It also has a lovely fragrance that's not overpowering and lathers up extremely easily. I was able to wash my hair, condition it with the Dove intensive shampoo and conditioner, and be able to brush my hair afterwards. Now because I have curly hair, I still need to use a leave in conditioner or some hair food to keep the curls looking great, this shampoo will not stop that as I've found out.
