A few years ago I noticed that using fragrance on my nether regions created issues for me, so I switched to this bar. My grandmother always used the pink bar with moisturizing cream, but I was advised to specifically use something without scent, so I chose this. It's fantastic. It's still a soap, but it isn't overly drying. I actually like to use it all over my body now, largely out of convenience's sake. One thing I've learned recently: a recent study suggested that some ingredients in soap found in this and other soaps by Dove and other brands (specifically, lpha-isomethyl ionone, lilial, ally heptanoate and 4-tert-Butylcyclohexyl acetate) may be more attractive to mosquitos, etc., so it's not advisable to use this while camping or hiking. I have noticed in the past that bugs seem to like the way I smell, and I think avoiding it during those times is helpful. What else? It's always available in a multi-pack and I purchase it since it regularly goes on sale, which makes it an economic choice. It even works as a facial cleanser when a regular one isn't available. And finally, its minimal packaging (simply a box to recycle and a slim piece of plastic film to dispose) means it's a more environmentally-friendly option. Win-win!

The soaps of the brand where they are part of a line that very much respects the Ph of the skin of our body. The soaps where even if used daily leave the skin soft, perfumed and velvety. Lately new fragrances have come out on the Italian market, as a good curiosity I have slowly tried them all. There is the classic one, the cucumber one, the one with scrub granules while we wash our hands and face. The line of soaps where it is very, very vast and satisfies everyone's tastes a little. I personally have been using them for a long time and I find them really of great quality and also the value for money is very affordable. Easy to find in all shops, I recommend them to everyone.

I haven’t been a fan of bar soap before, thinking they dry me out, but after my husband really wanted to try bar soap cause hand soap dries his hands up. Lately I’ve been experiencing itchy skin flare ups that lotion and wetting my skin doesn’t help much or long lasting (temporary hour relieves). I subconsciously scratch myself and it’s been terrible. Maybe stress itches from COVID lockdowns. Today I used the new Dove Bar Soap in cucumber green tea and I immediately feel a difference even from the other Dove Bar Soap we were using that we found in our pantry. My husband liked the bar soap enough and had me reorder some after it was used up so I went to buy the cucumber green tea bar soap if a new line of sensitive bar soap. After liking the feel of hand washing with it, I used it to wash my arm and the whole night I felt very wonderful and not itchy. It still feels clean, soft and moisturized (but not wet sticky moisturized like lotion). Has that just applied effect like the Aveena Anti Itch Lotion for Eczema that didn’t work past half an hour for me. I now crave to try it in place of body wash and facial cleanser to see if it still as good. It smells wonderful also!

It can exfoliate without dehydrating and it can rehydrate without overpowering your skins natural oils.

I’ve been using unscented Dove soap for years and decided to try this out for a new scent. As for pros, this soap is very hydrating and good for moisturizing skin. It’s a very creamy and light soap that feels great on the skin. The scent is also not too overpowering and has slight hints of cucumber. I have incredibly sensitive, dry skin and eczema, so I would recommend this to other people with similar issues! One of the main issues I have with this soap is how quickly I go through them and I haven’t had this issue with unscented Dove soaps thus far. Overall, this soap is worth it for it’s affordable price and I would recommend it if you can buy multiples of it at local retailers!

Fantastic, for a smooth, soft and moisturized skin

In this period I'm using Dove Original Beauty bar and I'm very satisfied about this product. This bar soap is fantastic, is optimal for my skin that is very sensitive. Infact is very delicate, it's made with moisturizing cream so It makes my skin smooth, soft and moisturized. It produces a rich and soft foam with a good and delicate fragrance. It's very gentle on my skin so I can use It for hands, body and face too. Thanks to this incredible soap, now my skin is always smooth,moisturized and very clean and never irritated. It's not a simple bar soap, but it's really a beauty bar soap!! Love It !!!

Overwhelming nasty penetrating scent

Have used Dove bar soaps in the past. The Dove bar soap from years back hardly had a fragrance at all. In the intervening years my family used Olay but due to the major wholesale clubs not carrying it anymore, I felt Dove would be a good alternative. I was shocked when I bought a 16pk still sealed in its cellophane wrapping from a wholesaleclub. My car reeks from the scent of the soap hours after removing this item. I put an unopened box in the bathroom and the whole house is filled with the repulsive pungentodor. This definitely is not the "ORIGINAL" Dove soap nor the original fragrance.
