Best ever quilt!
This is the best ever quilt I have owned. Keeps us nice and toasty during the recent cold winter months in Melbourne! We used to have to put extra blankets on the top of our wool quilt to keep us warm. No regrets buying this even though it was expensive. Lucky it was on sale when I bought it. I regret not buying this quilt earlier on! It is so soft and fluffy. So hard to get out of bed now!... Show more

Can’t recommend this enough.
I have purchased a Downia Feather Quilt before and it’s honestly the best investment I’ve made. So I purchased 2 more for my elderly parents. What I love is the loft ability with these quilts, that’s what keeps you so toasty warm. I did my research and Downia is still my No1 choice - (and I work in bedding) Previously I purchased goose feathers but this Duck 80/15 is equally lovely. The down doesn’t fall down the the bottom of the quilt ever but a good shake every few days gives you that super loft.... Show more

Downia…The best quality in quilts EVER!
This is the first time I’ve ever purchased a Downia white collection 85/15 white duck down and feather quilt. I am 55 years old and have NEVER slept so comfortably in all my life. I would absolutely recommended the brand and quality of this quilt to anyone that was seeking advice on the product…It’s the BEST quilt I have ever owned, it’s made my quality of sleep so much better.... I finally found the perfect Quilt
I have always purchased high end duck down/feather quilts until last year when I was encouraged to change over to a polyester filled quilt which I was not very happy with, I was always cold even in summer and had to add additional covers to keep warm, so I went in search for the perfect duck down/feather quilt. It took me a while and finally came across the Downia White Collection 85/15 White Duck Down & Feather Quilt. I cannot express the happiness and satisfaction I have with this quilt. It is so warm, extremely fluffy, just the right weight and looks great on my bed. I highly recommend the Downia White Collection' 85/15 White Duck Down & Feather Quilt !!... Show more

Love this Quilt
I was a little wary buying this quilt as I had never used a feather and down one before but I am loving it. It is so light and warm. I used to use a doona and blanket with my electric blanket to stay warm at night. I found that with the onset of arthritis in my legs, all that was getting too heavy which is why I decided to try this. It is so warm and soft. I just love it. The only small thing I have found is that it seems to be a bit more square in shape and doesn't fit perfectly in my doona covers. But this is just a minor thing and it still works fine. It was also on special when I bought it so that was another reason for my purchase. I would highly recommend it.... Show more

Overall good
When it first arrived, the quilt was smelling a LOT. Was quite disturbing. However, after airing for a day, and kept using for a month, the smell mostly disappeared. It's not a "quiet" quilt, as it makes plastic like noise, but i believe most of the feather quilts have this, so it's ok. It felt like a premium quality quilt overal though, very plush and light.... Pleasing change from Wool to Down weight quilts.
We recently bought this quilt as the woollen type doona was too heavy. This 85/15 Duck Down and feather quilt is light, warm and a perfect weight. We live in an area that has frosty mornings from May till early November so we are ver happy with the level of warmth.... Show more

Too Warm for Melbourne in May
Didn't realise this rated 4/5 for warmth until it was delivered, as I purchased it online following positive reviews. Disappointed to find then that I couldn't swap it, as apparently Myer no longer take quilts or pillows back. I explained I hadn't even removed it from its box but that made no difference. Returned home with it and tried it out. It feels lovely and light, but I slept poorly and woke up a number of times sweating! Too hot for Melbourne in late May, probably okay for July/August but I don't want a different quilt for each season.... Show more

Warm cosy and luxurious
I have had Downia duvets in the past and I guess that's why I keep going back to them! It makes me want to go to bed early. So luxurious and cosy. Super warm and light! They may me more expensive but it is definately worth it. If you love the crisp feel of a warm light weight duvet then Downia is your go too. I prefer the White Collection due to its superior quality and the fullness of the down. You can't go wrong!... Show more

Warm quilt, made in Thailand
Bought this thinking it was made in Aus, but its made in Thailand. Did a quick search online for duck down quilts to find out down is often sourced from live-plucked ducks which raises ethical issues for duck/goose down products in general. The quilt makes crinkly noises which my last goose down quilt didn't make. The quilt is otherwise very warm, only suitable for colder nights....
