Dr Bronner's Bar Soap 140 G almond

I am in love with Dr. Bronner's Baby Unscented Pure-Castile Bar Soap because I know I'm getting high-end ingredients for my body at a low price ($3) that lasts a really long time. This is what I use for my soap brows too to laminate them and make my sparse eyebrows look full! As far as using it on the body, it's excellent because I feel clean but never feel a filmy residue. I also never feel like my natural oils are being stripped away. Remember a little goes a long way. If you're female, use this as a feminine hygiene cleanser! It's free of dyes, fragrances,s, and irritants and will keep UTIs, odors, and infections at bay. I do suggest getting a container to keep bar soap in and keep adding a new bar in it. This bar, if used correctly can last SO long, and FYI, it's sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond. If you have a 20% off coupon, you're paying much less than $3 for this bar that is large and will last much longer than a typical bar of soap. The ingredients are so luxurious. I love that it has organic jojoba oil which has its own moisturizing, yet cleansing properties as well. It's such a nice ingredient. Each ingredient in this bar of soap will leave your skin baby soft and so clean! I highly recommend this! Try it for soap brows some time too if you like that look..even to make them fuller and then shape your eyebrows how you like. It will last you 6 years for that purpose at least.

A 5-star product

Have used Dr. Bronner's soap for years - I use body washes and bar soaps in the shower and this one is excellent. Creamy, gentle, soft but will clean thoroughly - Dr. Bronner's formulations were obviously ahead of the curve, using quality ingredients, too. Lathers so creamily, can even be used to shave my legs when I need to. The lavender is my favourite because of the scent. The rose scented soap is also incredible if you like scent. Love these soaps.

Excellent!

I love Dr Bonner’s soaps. I use the Rose, lavender and The Sal-Suds multi purpose cleaner, (see my other reviews). Lavender is well known for its calming benefits, this soap this has the clean soft scent of flowers with grassy notes , it’s non irritating gentle quality are perfect for sensitive skin, your skin will feel soft and moisturized. The package and size and composition are economical and last for months. My skin is combination but in colder months when dry it balances my complexion, I bathe with this 2-3 times daily. My skin is soft and supple. Trust me your skin will reap the benefits of this exceptional soap.

I've been using Dr. Bronner's soap since the early 90's and love their soap!! The new soaps that were introduced, Cherry Blossom and Green Tea, I purchased last year but didn't realize they were seasonal. They were so luxurious and yummy smelling, this year I went all out and purchased $258 worth. I ordered the day of the launch and the entirety of the order was messed. So I call to find out why the 5-gal jugs didn't deliver and 2 of each of the remaining soaps. The lady on the phone immediately reordered them for as a replacement. When I received the 32oz bottles, they don't seem as potent as the ones I received last year. I wonder if they cut the potency down. For those with a house full of boys

My husband is a soldier and deploys often and "can't cart around a bunch of bottles." Even solid shampoo seems like too much for him, and unfortunately, my two sons seem to have picked up Dad's disdain for using more than one product in the shower. But whatever they've been using lately was leaving their hair really greasy looking and smelled awful- but my husband and oldest get eczema and they insisted that it was the only thing that didn't make them overly dry. While looking for an all-in-one bar for them someone mentioned castile soap, so I decided to give it a try. I love the smell of marzipan- and that's exactly what this soap smells like. Ordered the advertised 3 ~ received 1

The bar soap is advertised side by side, one states (pack of 3) for the price of $4.48. The ad next to it offers one bar for the same price. Only one bar was received, naturally. Farther along in the soap ads there is an ad for two (2) bars for $19.74 and again six (6) bars for $36.73 and once bar for $15.30. All of these have shipping deliveries, one or two have pickup and.or delivery. I understand these are different sellers., but when I ordered the 3 pack for $4.48 and received one bar there should have been some sort of explanation. I have not used the bar. It smells wonderful and I will probably keep it and use it ~ sparingly. And appreciate it a great deal.

Perfect boy family soap

My husband and sons refuse to use more than one product in the shower. They say it’s high maintenance (eyeroll.) This lead to them all using the bar soap on their hair and extreme greasy-ness- it wasn’t a good look. So I swapped all the soap for this one. Now their hair isn’t greasy and they all smell like almonds which I like and apparently my kids have been told smells good by their female friends. Others have said that the bar loses its scent but I don’t find that to be the case at all. My husband’s also a soldier so he likes that it’s not liquid so it’s easy to take on the plane and throw in his rucksack without worrying it’ll spill (there was a head n shoulders incident early in our relationship that caused big problems.) The Only One

I fund out about this body wash about 3 or 4 years ago and I've been purchasing it ever since. I know most people love the peppermint but it's not my thing. I've tried others versions as well but I'm not a fan of any of them. Since this is seasonal I purchase a good 30-50 bottles each time it is released to hold me over to the next release. It is such a nice smell, not over powering, but very soft and nice. I always feel extremely clean after showering with this. Aside from it leaving me very clean, it does not dry out my skin. Which is a plus because I take extremely hot showers. It is literally the only bath wash I use and have used fr 4 years now. The only thing I will say is I hate how it is only seasonal. The best soap.

I use the Dr. Bronners soap on my face to wash away my makeup and also my body as well. It has helped me completely clear my acne paired with benzoyl peroxide cream and hypoallergenic makeup. This is SOAP. It scrubs away everything. With a face scrubby it gets every bit of makeup out of my pores and is the best thing I have ever done for my face. Toss away all the face cleaners and use this because it works so well and will not break you out because it doesn't have all the extra ingredients and fragrances. Essential oils work so much better for your skin and smell great. The lavender is my favorite Bronners scent! Also it's great for adult and kid bodies and hands- so easy on the skin. Just avoid getting into your eyes because the castile soap burn is like no other!

The liquid soap has more scent.

I’ve used Dr. Bronner’s for years (mainly the liquid soap). The reviews say this soap has a nice smell. Well, I don’t know if my Target received a bad batch, but my soap didn’t have any “almondy-ness” (I know it’s not a word) to it. Compared to the liquid soap this bar soap might as well have been labeled as unscented. As far as being moisturizing…it definitely felt like it dried my sensitive skin during my shower rinse off. To the point when I’d run my hand over my skin it would get stuck (if that makes sense). However, once my skin was fully dry it wasn’t too bad. Body butter was definitely a must after using the soap. I’d purchase it again though because it does a great job of cleansing.
