The product arrived quickly and the smell is absolutely wonderful. My only issue is the soap shoots up and out through the opening. In other words the soap doesn't just fall down into my hands it, because of the opening may be defective The soap will is go straight onto my shirt etc. I would definitely buy again though this bottle is probably just defective.

We had been using diluted Sal Suds for our hand cleaning but I wanted something a little more gentle for my hands. First time using a Dr. Bronner’s hand soap. It is definitely kinder to my hands. I get the same crisp, clean feeling I get using Sal Suds/diluted for dishes but without the drying of my hands. Rinses cleanly. The lavender scent is pleasant, not over powering.

Having been diagnosed with some allergies, I had to replace most of my household items. This soap is really wonderful for both body and hands. Does a great job cleaning but doesn't make you feel stripped dry. Unfortunately, as a shampoo, it leaves my hair feeling and appearing dirtier than before I used it. This is the only reason for the 4 stars, I highly recommend it for anything else.
I use Dr. Bronner's lavender 4 in 1 sugar soap morning and night as face wash (and as body wash in the shower). It is gentle, yet makes my skin feel so clean and fresh. I tell everyone I know about it and get non-stop compliments on my skin. I put on a little moisturizer after using and voila! Couldn't recommend this product more!! So glad they sell it in gallon size!
The lavender smell is very invigorating . I’m such a fan of the peppermint sugar scrub I had to get this. Ants came into my home once I started using this. Lol. I guess they wanted some sugar scrub too. Came straight to the bathroom. The quality is great, the amount of product for the price is good. We haven’t had a problem with our skin while using it.
This Organic Sugar Soap is great as a Body wash, Hand wash, Face wash including removing makeup. Unfortunately, didn't work for my hair which that was I was looking for. I used for entire month and it helps with the frizz, but weight down my hair. My hair was flat without any volume, Opaque without any shine. Sometimes, it felts sticky. I used with apple cider vinegar as a rinse and it was a disaster. I used with other conditioners and i got the same results. for the record my hair is black, long and wavy NOT CURL. This was my first purchase with Dr Bronner's
I love all the Dr Bronner's products I've tried but This is my New Favorite. I was ordering for my new baby the unscented version and decided to try this one for myself. So glad I did. This has a very pleasing natural scent and luxurious clean feel.
I like this as a body wash just fine. Adds extra body to my medium length hair. Limited lather means I work to get it to my scalp. However my husband (using the peppermint) having shorter hair seems to do just fine. I will get used to it but it's quite a different experience. Also Sugar in the title made me think exfoliant but it has no grit. Lavendar scent is not strong.
Great soap, very natural. Does have a brown color and a bit of a residue while still wet but then after drying hands, they are nice and soft. The scent is not a perfect, clean Lavender but no doubt due to the sugar. Not a problem for me as I want natural and healthy first, scent comes second.
