My husband has seborrheic dermatitis (SD) on his scalp. We tried all of the medicated shampoos out there meant for people with this scalp condition, and none of them worked. I had read that tea tree oil was a remedy for SD, and since I already am a Dr. Bronner’s fan, I decided to get my husband a bottle of this to try. It worked! It is the only shampoo that keeps his SD away. He uses it every time he washes his hair. Also, I recently was experiencing some scalp irritation and redness in one area, so I used the shampoo and with one wash, my scalp no longer hurt and was no longer red. This is powerful stuff! So I use it occasionally when I wash my hair, but not regularly as I find it a bit drying for my hair. I just love Dr. Bronner's products! This is my second year of purchasing gallon sized jugs of scented Castille Soaps and Sal Suds, for all my cleaning needs. The gallon sized products provide a great value and I don't have to keep reordering every few months. I purchased the Almond scented soap to use in my foaming hand soap dispensers throughout my house. I picked up a Grove foaming hand soap dispenser and filled with Castille soap to the soap line, then topped off the bottle with filtered water. It is a perfect match and it makes an effective foaming soap. Excellent product at an excellent value.
This review DOES NOT pertain the the product but DOES pertain to the fulfillment of the order.I love Dr. Bonners and have used it for years. Over the past few months I have ordered this item twice (rose scent and almond scent) and both descriptions read 16 ounce for approximately $19 ; however, what I received were only 8 ounce bottles for the $19 . I have reached out to the vendors regarding this issue. I caught the first one by accident and was really shocked to see it happened on the previous order. I believe it will be resolved quickly and fairly.I love this product and will continue to buy it but I'll be checking a little closer in the future.
Love this for my hands. After civid my hands were so chaped and terrible. Nothing worked until this soap. However, this soap caused a big clump of hair to fall out. And then hair falling out every day. I switched to the Tea Tree bar soap and my hair still fell out but not clumps like the regular soap. I have had hair fall out, I am older but never like this. Now I need to return the hair rinse 2 of the 3 I purchased R not open. I continue to use the regular soap and the bar soap for my hands and body.Something good that happened with my nails. I had a vertical split in my thumb nail for about 5 years, nothing worked to fix it. After I started using the regular Tea Tree soap to wash my hands that split healed. And it healed quickly. I have to assume it was your soap.

It refreshes you and gives you some energy. I love everything about this soap, really. It’s also a GREAT thing to use with your menstrual cup to clean it! It’s very multifunctional! This almost 500ml bottle size will last for months if you just use it for skincare. The quality is outstanding! It’s good for teenagers and adults I think more because of its intense scent, not sure about babies, but they have unscented for babies too which is wonderful. I started using Dr. Bronner’s a few months ago for an all-purpose cleaner mixed with essential oil. Since then I’ve used it for foaming hand soap, laundry detergent, and even facial cleanser. I love this stuff! I love that one bottle can be used for so many different things and diluted down so it lasts for quite a while!The rose scent is very nice and not an overwhelming floral.This bottle came with the original seal intact and with a protective zipping plastic bag as well. No leaks or damage.
I love that this product is made from natural ingredients! That’s why I bought it. However I’ve already used half a bottle in 4 days. I tried to follow the suggested dilution instructions but as you will learn yourself if you purchase this it’s not strong enough. I like it best so far as a face wash. I like it the least so far for dishes as I think that’s where it has been least effective. I ordered the house cleaner version so hopefully that’s better for dishes. I didn’t mind this for a shampoo. It lathered well. Not so sure about it as a body wash yet. Again it just doesn’t seem strong enough to dilute it as suggested. Maybe it’s the water I used… I used bottled spring water in one container and tap in another.

At the time only the peppermint was available and I had to get used to the taste, but I liked having an alternative to the sticky sugary pastes that were the only things available at the time other than tooth powder. I also began using Dr. Bronner's soap diluted in water as a fruit and vegetable wash. Decades later I discovered the tea tree version and began using that in lieu of the peppermint and found it had a really good effect on my teeth and gums. I was prone to gum infections and the tea tree really seemed to help. Again, had to get used to the taste but I find it much more pleasant than the peppermint.
