Dr Brown's Options Narrow Neck Baby Bottle 250mL

Highly recommended for newborns and above., The anti-colic feature really works!When I was using ordinary bottles, I can see bubbles in and out of the bottle whenever I feed my baby. It made her gassy and she keeps us awake from midnight till morning. I have used this bottle for almost 2 dats now and I have observed that bubbles get popped in the air vent before it can be sucked with the milk by my baby. My baby didnt cry because of gassy tummy or colic at night. Thanks to this.

These Dr. Brown's bottles are the best bottles I have ever used. I had an issue with one out of 5 I bought and they were very quick to assist me in fixing the issue. The nipple from the Options wide neck bottle we got has a split in it so it kept leaking formula everywhere. We were all confused how it was happening until I went to clean the nipple a second time and felt my finger literally go through it. I usually use a bottle brush so I didn't notice the first time. It was a pretty big split too but when he wasn't using the nipple it looked fine. They sent us a brand new nipple quickly and his new bottle is now perfect. I recommend these bottles to every mother I know!! I want to make sure to spread the word about anything that helps make babies more comfortable and happy and for feeding this bottle is the best. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Brown's bottles. Buy them. They will most likely change your life. My baby was fussy, gassy, and extremely cranky and we tried everything we could think of (gas drops, changing her formula, you name it, we did it,) and the moment switched her to these bottles, she became a happy, much less gassy baby. These were exactly what she needed to alleviate her tummy problems. Seriously, try these for your baby and you won't regret it. They do have a lot of parts to clean, and they are somewhat more expensive than some other brands but I really think they are worth every penny and every moment spent washing them. I can't recommend them enough.

My baby had some gas and reflux issue starting week 3 so we purchased the Dr. Brown bottles. These bottles came with the premie and no.1 size nipple. Our nurse recommended that we use the premie nipples but we find that the flow was way too slow that the baby got tired after drinking very little and ended up consuming much less volume of milk than he previously have had with the Avent Natural. We ended up using the no.1 but the flow was still very slow compared to Avent Natural and baby's consumption went down each feed and each feed takes twice as long and we also had to feed him more frequently. These bottles did help with the gas/ reflux issue. We were on and off these Dr. Brown bottles since the gas/reflux issue was somewhat resolved. In terms of cleaning, yes, there are lots of parts but I don't find it very cumbersome once you get the hang of it

Awesome bottles both the Natural Flow & options

These are hands down the best design for anti colic bottles, they are vented and allow air in, that being said if you fill a bottle and attempt to travel with it it will leak, unless you remove the nipple ring, vent and cap and use the solid caps or disc with the nipple rings. If you overfill the bottle the venting system fills with formula, if enough formula gets into the vent tube it will leak, that liner that say do not fill above line, it means it, the closer you are to the capacity of the bottle the higher the likely hood of this happening. If you lie you child back while feeding the risk diminishes the more upright and level the bottle the higher the likely hood. The original natural flow vent cap is more resistant to issues in my experience. The tube goes over the the vent cap, while on the the options plus the tube fits into the vent cap. the latter if not seated all the way in or tilted will allow milk/formula to enter the segregated chamber and if it fills enough then it will leak. These are Great Bottles and they are complex and simple at the same time. I love them but i dread cleaning them, we have twins and I spend about 1 to 1 1/2 hours daily washing ans sterilizing bottles every day. A little patience and making sure the components are assembled correctly and they work flawlessly. My biggest complaint is available replacement parts. I need caps, and can not find the ones without buying a vent tube and other accessories. Plus my OCD wants to match the original colors of my bottles and not have mismatch components.

Dr Brown's Leaky Bottles

I have used these bottles while babysitting. They worked fine then. Now after having my baby, I was gifted these and would have totally recommended these to anyone.Needless to say, I am horribly disappointed in these bottles both anti colic and natural flow. These bottles are leaky, some persons recommend not sterilizing with boiling water, but only with a steamer. Dr Brown needs to clarify this for all time sake. Formula is wasting and the mess is a frustrating disaster.Added to that, I cannot say that they prevent gas or colic in anyway because since using this product my baby is really gassy and has plenty gas.Overall I think we all deserve an explanation or a refund or an apology. I was given this product to test in exchange for my honest review. In my opinion, this is a high quality baby bottle that would work well for most babies. First, the good: As a parent that is concerned about harmful chemicals leaching from plastic baby bottles, I was happy to see Dr. Brown's offering a glass option. The glass held up well through multiple washings and the bottle did not leak. My baby who had previously been drinking from Dr. Brown’s narrow plastic bottles readily accepted this bottle and its similar design. Now for the bad: Something about the design of this bottle made my baby gassier than usual. All in all though, I still think this is one of the better glass bottles we have tried and I would recommend it to other parents.

I love these bottles, BUT…

I absolutely love these bottles. I’ve noticed a significant difference between THESE particular ones, and the other ones. One of those differences just so happens to be leaks! Before I proceed, I’m just going to call the bottles as I see them as I do not know the terminology for them. Now, the bottles with the blue ventilation system appear to be the same as the bottles with the green ventilation system, and I made that assumption as well. And then the leaking started with the bottles that had the blue ventilation system. I tried everything. Using the ventilation, not using it, nothing worked. I then realized the bottle caps that held the nipples were different. They were shaped differently, seemed more secure, and most importantly didn’t leak. No leaks, Less Air

My baby and I have been using Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Options+ Anti Colic 8oz Bottle for about a week now. Being a mom to 14 children I have used a lot of bottles and I was very impressed on this bottle. This bottle does not leak and my baby doesn't get a lot of air. I also like that you can use with or without the vent. The nipples are very secure in ring compared to other bottles I have used. My baby took this bottle so much better compared to similar bottles. Very leaky!

Using for both breastmilk and formula. Originally, I bought them just so I could screw the collar/nipple onto Similac 2oz nursette bottles. That was very convenient when first home from the hospital and we were cleared to stop using the sterile single use Similac nipples. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. These bottles leak SO badly. So, if you like your baby being covered in breastmilk or formula every time you feed them, these are great. If not…try something else (having much better luck with Mam). 3 stars because my baby does latch well onto the nipple and we have been able to use them with the nursettes.
