I’m just diving right into this review: THIS PRODUCT IS OUTSTANDING!! The only reason that I can think of someone not liking this is the scent. It has the essence of a crackling fire with a hint of really dark, bitter chocolate. I love both of these so it’s not a dealbreaker for me 😂. If you want smooth, clear and healthier looking skin especially if you’re over 40, this product is for you! This product has excellent reviews and I encourage you to read them for yourself to get other perspectives. Again, the scent might be a dealbreaker for you if you have aversions to certain smells. Expensive but Impressive

I got this as a GWP in an order a while back and, since dealing with a nasty hormonal breakout recently, gave it a proper go alongside the Extra Strength peel pads. My skin hasn't been irritated at all with the potent combo, and I've seen a good reduction in the size, redness and tenderness of the breakouts to the point that they're maybe two days away from being gone completely! Is this a hero product on its own? I can't say for certain, but I do like the results I've been seeing and feeling and I feel that should say something. Don't know if I could dish out nearly $100 for it in this economy, though it's definitely been a good user experience for me! I absolute LOVE this product. Dr. Dennis Gross kills it with their antioxidants and their interesting formulations. I love the serum consistency- it is easy to apply and sinks in super quickly.As for the comments about the "bad smell" that I keep reading. Seriously I'm rolling my eyes. No offense but you have to be a hardcore skincare newb to be bothered by a fragrance free product. This product doesn't even smell bad. Game changer!

Let me start by touching base on what the reviews say, it does not smell good. If you’ve ever used dermatologist grade treatments/serums you know the GOOD stuff smells terrible but it gets the job done, I don’t care how something smells as long as it gets the job done and that it does!! It was truly transformed my skin my large pores are now normal looking and my texture has been eliminated. My skin isn’t oily when I wake up. I’m absolutely impressed with this and find it to get a great price point for the results I’ve seen. If you want results, this is it! If you want something that just smells good but is overhyped to waste your money on CD skincare, like I once did.

I’ve been looking for a retinol but was reluctant to purchase as I was afraid of using it. Redeemed a small bottle sample using beauty points. Used up the 7ml bottle in 1.5 months and it worked really well so decided to purchase a full-sized bottle. I have acne prone combination skin and have been getting recurring annoying pimples on my cheekbones area. This product has really helped to reduce my pores and helped healed scarring, while also prevent new pimples from maturing. I would feel bumps under my skin but this helps the bumps disappear after a few days without getting to the stage of inflammation. I will use this product every other day as part of my night routine followed by Glow Recipe Pink Juice Moisturizer. Must Buy!!!

I first got this product as a sample and instantly noticed a difference in my skin so I knew I had to purchase the full size. I’ve suffered from cystic acne for the last 4 years. I’ve been prescribed trentinoin and other prescribed creams that maybe temporarily make them go away, but in the end just completely dries my face out. This serum seriously stops my zits in their tracks!! It’s also done a great job evening my complexion and still leaving me hydrated. Can’t say enough good things!! OH also - ignore the negative reviews about the smell. I really don’t mind it. If you’ve used a potent vitamin C serum it sort of reminds me of that.

The scent isn't over-powering and doesn't irritate my sinuses.Instructions say use four drops; that's not enough to cover my face. I need to use about eight drops. I have been integrating it into my skincare routine for about a month now, and so far I have had only minimal irritation which is something to be expected when starting retinol. My last prescription was considered the most gentle of the prescription formulas and still caused burning, redness and peeling so I decided to try an over the counter strength. The advisor at Sephora suggested this product as she has seen many people have positive results. Upon looking at the ingredient list, this product is jam packed with a lot of awesome ingredients that will help with a lot of my concerns; acne, redness, and hyperpigmentation primarily. Along with retinol, there is glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid in this formula which really helps with the deep exfoliation aspect and will help fight acne, aging, clogged pores etc. There is is also ferulic acid which helps to fade and prevent dark spots. There is willow bark extract which helps with inflammation and pain. You’re probably thinking all these present actives sounds like it’d be irritating, but I think since there’s a little bit of everything it actually may make it less irritating as opposed to one really strong ingredient and you get the multiple benefits of different ingredients.
