I’m into a double cleansing method for makeup removal. I don’t like cleansing wipes so I’ve been on a journey to find a good non oil cleanser for my first step. This works really well. It has a nice light citrus scent and removes most of the makeup from my face. My only complaints are you need a larger amount than other cleansers and for a small container already I can see myself going through a ton of it. Secondly for a non oil cleanser it feels oily. Granted I double cleanse but still leaves my skin feeling a bit icky afterwards.

This is an odd product. It is a “meltaway” cleanser to remove makeup that you don’t rinse off, or use water at all (if you follow the directions). It’s made for dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin and promises “clean, makeup-free skin that is soothed, hydrated, and nourished.”. It has some great ingredients including Hyaluronic acid, sea grapes, kiwi and aloe, as well as being sulfate free, I will say that it’s gentle and hydrating. However, the promises of removing all makeup, even “the most stubborn waterproof “ proved to be false. It didn’t even remove my “natural” non- waterproof makeup look. You apply to dry skin and massage until makeup, dirt, and oil are dissolved. Then you wipe off with a cloth, cotton round or tissue. First, not only did this NOT remove my makeup, it just smeared it around my face. It was a massive mess removing with a cloth. I had to do a double cleanse, which was technically a triple cleanse. I tried it one more time without makeup and it didn’t even remove my SPF. I love that this is in a travel friendly tube and love the no rinse concept, but this is a fail! Back to using my tried and true cleansing oils and balms. You can go ahead and remove this with wet cloth so tube isn’t wasted, but it leaves a weird film on your face. It’s a blue colored cream texture that I really feel will make me break out if I continued to use. This is DEFINITELY most appropriate for dry skin.

I just got this Cleanser a couple weeks ago so I've been using it just about every day. It has become one of my top favorite Makeup Removing Cleansers that I've ever tried. First thing is the scent! It's the most incredible scent. It's a sweet fruity scent. I've never used a Cleanser that has such a great scent. This Cleanser has a really thick consistency but it's still easy to rinse. I was amazed by how well it removes my Makeup. It really does just melt away any kind of Makeup I use. It doesn't dry out my skin or leave it feeling tight. It's actually quite moisturizing. To be honest, it works just like a Makeup Removing Balm mixed with a Clarifying Cream Cleanser. I just use a quarter sized amount on a reusable Cleansing Cloth if I'm Removing my makeup. It's fairly thick and creamy so a little goes a long way. I have noticed my skin is getting softer and more clear. My skin is also less red most days and honestly has a gorgeous healthy skin glow every morning when I wake up. This Cleanser is also Cruelty Free and Vegan. So I say it's an excellent product and definitely worth the purchase and the price! 👌 #dennisgross #makeupremover #myfavoritecleanser #Skincare #crueltyfree #veganskincare #meltawaycleanser #hyaluronicacid #drdennisgross

Picked the mini of this up 3 weeks ago at the checkout on a total whim. I have sensitive, dry, breakout-prone skin, and have tried every cleanser under the sun - La Mer, Eve Lom, Sunday Riley - you name it. Most either increase dryness or cause cystic acne so I'm used to expecting the worst, but I'm SO HAPPY I found this one.I massage in to dry skin, rinse it off, and then spritz on/swipe off KIT Cleansing Water before putting on my moisturizer. Skin is more hydrated than it has been in years, no breakouts, and makeup goes on gorgeous. So happy I've found this!
I have one tube by my bed, one in the shower and one at my sink. This cleanser makes everything better. Why do I have one by my bed? Well, at night I wash my face and then I use my LED mask and I use my steamer, the most underrated beauty tool, and then rub some more marine cleanser into my skin. It feels so soft. You need to wash your face in the AM. But if you’re like me you want your face to be clean but not stripped. That my friend is why the meltaway cleanser is the way to start your day.
Love. Love. Love. I had a really bad 6-12 months with my skin and couldn’t work out what was the cause, tried everything (including visits to Drs) and decided it may be hard water in a new area after moving. Switched to using this cleanser (no water needed) to remove makeup and my skin drastically improved. Now apart from the odd breakout my skin is back to being smooth. If you’ve tried everything for better skin I’d definitely try for this. Also great for travel and camping
The cleaner itself is fine. Non irritating (I have sensitive skin), rinses away cleanly and non drying. All of which means i feel it's slightly too expensive. The packaging though is great. I can't believe I'm getting excited about a plastic tube but as it's slightly transparent you can monitor how much is left and somehow every last drop of product comes out easily. No squeezing the tube to death or cutting in half required!! Utter witchcraft. Other brands should take note.
The vast majority of the negative reviews are due to user error- people seem to have ignored the directions completely and decided that 1) this is a second cleanser 2) you use it like a foaming cleanser. It needs to be put on DRY skin and it DOES NOT RINSE OFF. You wipe it off like you would an old-fashioned cold cream. If you actually use it the way they clearly tell you to, it indeed does remove ALL makeup. Also, a couple of reviews say that it “smells bad”. It doesn’t. People will complain about fragrance in a product and those same people will complain that it doesn’t smell good when fragrance isn’t used. You can’t have it both ways. Anyway, I recommend this as long as you can follow the directions!
I have used so many different cleansers and this is the worst by a mile. I double cleanse, dry my face with a towel and the towel is covered in makeup. Foundation, mascara.. what is it removing? Have never had this issue. It leaves a weird waxy texture on the skin which I suppose is the problem - seems to be sealing everything in rather than washing anything off. Can’t even understand how to company released this product. Hands down worst cosmetic product I’ve ever used.
I picked this up on a whim waiting in the line to checkout. I’m a sucker for those sample size products that I usually end up with 3 blind buys to “give it a go”. This makeup remover balm was the latest in you go! to my basket. Legit was only at Mecca to buy UD ultra matte setting spray (a review on that coming soon). I have acne scars and redness and large pores so I lay on the makeup. It’s one layer of one particular foundation with another layer of another brand. I am a foundation polygamist. This works for me and no it’s not overkill. SO when it comes to removing my makeup it’s a situation and triple cleanse it is for me.WELL! After having used this I only need to do ONE cleanse if I use this first. I apply it to my face and let it sit like a mask for a minute or 2. It breaks down the makeup and I go in with circular motions. I then get a cleansing brush and sweep up taking the cleansing balm off. Once removed I then go in with my face wash and my skin is clean clean clean. Love it and will buy again when it runs out.
